Post-surgery, my case slipped between the cracks in my surgeon's office, (not affilated with SLUHN). My stitches were overdue for removal. It was easy to make an Urgent Care appointment. The waiting room is clean and quiet, and staff is pleasant and professional.

My stitches were causing significant discomfort and Dr. Gonzales gently removed them with great care.

Find a private doctor where they care to call and confirm your appointment before you arrive. Big hospitals don't care about you. You are just another number to them. At my old doctor, if there was no patients in the waiting room and I was a little late, he would have accommodated me after driving an hour to see them. They...
