My daughter, who had dyed her hair bright magenta in college, was looking to bring back her blonde locks and we were recommended to check out the Artist’s Palette in Smithsburg. Since we live in that town we ventured in and met Mandy. My daughter explained what she wanted and instead of getting straight to work on dyeing her hair back to her natural color, a test patch was done to see if it would work. I thought it strange at first but trusted the process. Turns out if the stylist had not done that and chose to dye it, my daughter’s hair would have turned highlighter pink, which was not the natural color. She instead did a special hair treatment of washing to help nourish her hair and revitalize it. I knew we found the right place as Mandy was honest and wanted to do the right thing by my daughter. Because of that, the salon has had three new clients since 2021! We have had the pleasure of using many stylists at the salon and have been very happy since! I wanted to give a shoutout to Brittany at The Artist's Palette Hair Salon and Gallery I had a vision I wanted my hair to be color wise and also wanted someone who would listen to me about my hair needs and concerns. Brittany was so warm and welcoming and listen and she made my hair color perfect! 10 out of 10 I highly recommend this salon! I went in with this golden hair and with this dark unmatched color that previous hair stylist said it couldn’t be fixed. Brittany educated me on how to change it with different ways to do highlights and we even mapped out a color for summer. First time going to the Artist's Palette Hair Salon and Gallery and I'm so glad I did! Jamie, the owner, did an awesome job on my hair! I wanted to go all around lighter to blend in my grays. It was definitely a process since I had been using box dyes and dying it black for years She gave me her input and asked mine so we could get as close to the vision I had pictured. She explained everything she was doing step by step and gave me informative information about the products she used on my hair. Morgan who helped do my hair, so sweet and also great at what she does.
