Wow! It was really nice to meet Steve Johnson and his employees. Janice and I went to Buckle and Hide in Symrna after I inquired at Bumpus Harley-Davidson motor clothes where we might get our chaps fitted and some patches sewn on our leather vests. Steve is an expert, and I felt very comfortable turning over our expensive leather items to him. He did a great job and we have NO complaints about his workmanship. The store/shop is really outfitted nicely inside a log style building. There is much to look at while Steve sews on your leather goods. The shop is full of fine leather vests, chaps, coats, and belts. Steve will even make a personalized belt for you at your request. They have plenty of other items in their shop as well like buckles, hats, leather fobs, etc. I understand that people come from all around even other states to get their leather craft done. Evidently Steve has a great reputation and I can vouch that he did a great job for us! We know where to go in the future for our leather needs. But be mindful, Leather is not cheap, so I would advise that you track your items as you pick them out, the bill can be a surprise if you don't. We will be back none the less. The first time I went to the store I was looking for good quality leather chaps without the expense. I found some unlined and lined very reasonable. I started shopping around stores, online, Craigslist, etc. I went back because I remembered the sale they had on unlined ones, plus, if you signed up for text alerts, you get a discount. When I returned the sale was off, but the lined chaps were on sale for almost what the unlined ones were. I BOUGHT THEM! They are better than any I've seen or tried on. Everyone in the store is great and helpful. They have a great selection and I will be back! You don't have to go far in your hometown to find good deals, plus it helps small businesses!! I am a career firefighter. Have not been able to find a belt for years that didn't stretch. Steve has been a friend of mine since high school, I have personally witnessed him make belts. So I call him. I now have a belt that can hold up to the demands of the job. I waited a couple of weeks to rate the belt, could not be happier. Will never buy a duty belt from any where else. Thanks Steve.

Just an update. I have had this belt now for 4 or 5 months. There is absolutely no stretch or problems. Without a doubt the best duty belt I have worn in the past 20 years.
