We’ve been in Smyrna/La Vergne area for more than 2 years now and we just got to try this gem yesterday! Ambiance: Very cozy, clean and they have this sweet little Instagrammable spot that says ā€œMake this world a sweeter placeā€. Service: The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. We had to ask them to heat our coffee in the microwave not because it is not hot but we just prefer our coffee real hot, they accommodated our request and even told us to be careful as it could be too hot. Food: Their pastries are soooo gooood! We tried their Buenos Dias Croissant sandwich and the Pistachio croissant and they are both very delicious. The Buenos Dias croissant is moist and has a spread which tastes like a sweet hollandaise sauce that really made a difference. Their Pistachio croissant is really good as well and just the right level of sweetness. Their Dulce de Leche coffee is also good. It was a great 1st time experience overall. Wish we have tried them sooner!

I am so torn over this place because I love the glazed donut and love the coffee … when my order is made correctly :( Twice now I’ve had a girl with piercings get my order incorrect. The coffee isn’t cheap … honestly it’s a tad over priced SO, it shouldn’t seem like a burden when I ask for what I paid for to be made for me correctly. There are two girls there who are extremely rude and it almost makes me not want to keep coming back, honestly. I love to support local but I am also going to go where the love is… They have made both my boyfriend and I uncomfortable with their very unfriendly attitudes. I understand everyone has an off day but it’s been every time we visit. We are extremely optimistic people who both come from customer service and if you own or work at a restaurant, treating the people who pay for your food kindly is part of the gig…. There is a male with glasses who makes the coffee sometimes! Not only is he always vibrant and kind, but he’s made our drinks spectacularly every time!

Lastly the croissants themself are fantastic but my goodness (in our opinion) are the Guava and Nutella over stuffed. The pastry to filling ratio is wild. It’s too much inside. I wish I took a picture of the day I ordered the guava. No exaggeration, I bit into the pastry and guava started pouring out. My boyfriend started laughing because the filling covered the entire plate, you couldn’t even tell it was white. This of course is just an opinion from a mega, well traveled foodie but I’ve also asked what some other people thought as well and they agreed it’s way too much.

Lastly, the atmosphere itself is actually really cute! But the staff is TERRIBLE at turning tables. I’ve never seen one person come out and wipe down anything after people make a mess. It’s a very small front of house so staying up on trash, crumbs and drink splatter on tables isn’t a massive thing to tackle.

Honestly, I’ve been super torn about writing this review. We have been to this spot SO many times now with the hopes it was going to be as wonderful as our first experience was…. It’s a wildcard and it’s a bummer. I know I am thankful for super truthful reviews because when I’m spending my money I want to know what I’m...

I'm not normally a five star reviewer person but I was extremely impressed with this bakery. I stopped in extremely early right when they opened and was not disappointed. I bought donut and the conche (probably not spelling this right) pastry for my office. Even the none sweet eaters said it was delicious. The ratio of sweet to bread was perfect. the bread of the donuts were more chewy a little like a funnel cake or elephant ear rather than the nothing but sweet donuts from like dunkin. The strawberry was delightfully a hint of strawberry. If your looking for a sweet donut I recommend the glazed. the sugar coated are definitely on the sweeter side but the denser bread helps balance it out. My none sweet eater coworker said after eating 2 that "It doesn't feel like I've eaten tons of sugar." The coffee was also good. I had the Flan Latte and they did an excellent job keeping the ratio of sweet syrup to coffee ratio. This would be an excellent place to have cake and coffee with a group of friends or for breakfast. I will probably try and order a Bento cake from...
