McDaniels Piggly Wiggly — Local services in Sneads

The store itself is very clean and presentable. However there's this staff, I believe she's married into the McDaniel family, who's attitude is the absolute worst! She's a short, heavy set caucasian woman, nobody will give me her name but she usually works in the box up front giving out change. This is not the first time she's given me attitude but up until today I never said anything. She's also been extremely nasty to my mother as well. She has this "I'm better than everyone else" attitude and it stinks. I love shopping here and also how convenient it is but after the way I was treated today I can't wait to go on social media and warn all of my friends about this lady and her nasty attitude, I have over 3,000 by the way and over half is in this area. I work in customer service so I take that very serious. The customer is always right and you're supposed to make sure they're happy because if it wasn't for the customers your business wouldn't make it. I also believe word of mouth is extremely important! This review is not to be nasty or malicious but to inform the public that they may run into this witch while shopping here and to just watch...

Local family owned store. Serves the small area of Sneads, Grand Ridge and Chattahoochee. Higher priced than ALL other local Piggly Wiggly stores. Since the other closest grocery stores are all over 20 miles away from this one, they take advantage and raise priced. Even the one in Quincy is Lower priced and it's owned by same people. I've actually seen Piggly Wiggly sake where Blountstown Pig has same items shipped in for sale or discounted over 50% to 60% cheaper. This even goes for their own Quincy store. Locals seem oblivious and are dedicated. Owner is said to have bought other grocery building in Chattahoochee, 5 miles away and refused any other food store to buy it or lease it. Understand Chattahoochee is a river ridge built old town with very limited space. In fact, NO OTHER space to build new grocery sized store (State Hospital owned most of land downtown).

But as I Said, it serves the community. Store is clean, well stocked for smaller store and very friendly, as all stores should be. So average...

Terrible they sell expired food. bought groceries along with a bag of dulcinea grapes brought them home to discover they were covered in mold and had to throw away half our groceries because they were mostly bad SERIOUSLY how are we gonna eat if yall are selling bad !!!ROTTEN!!!food !!!!!!!
