I've been a member at Decater Performance for about two years now, and overall, it's been a very positive experience. I was never been able to continue with any gym for so long in the past. This place is about 15 miles from my home. When I joined, I thought I may not be able to continue here for longer because of the distance. But my experience and results with this has been so good that I don’t mind driving this distance every morning at 5:30 am. The facility is open, big, always immaculately clean, and the equipments are well-maintained. The coaches are the best - very knowledgeable, inspiring, encouraging, friendly and helpful. Even in the group classes, they pays deep attention to every individual, ensure the posture is right for all the exercises. They always encourage and push you to cross your limits. I have seen great results just by following their guidance. They provide very sustainable personalized meal plans - variety of food options and lots of food - it really helped me reducing my body weight and fat percentage. The people coming to this gym are really nice - that creates a great environment for the group classes and makes the workouts really fun.    Read moreI joined Decater Fitness nearly a year ago. Coming back from COVID restrictions, I wanted to join a gym closer to home with a bit different routine than I had been doing. A friend told me about this program and suggested I meet Derek. We discussed my goals, took some measurements and developed a meal plan.
I felt results in the first month. I dropped some weight and felt stronger. Fast forward 11 months, I am down 25 lbs., feel stronger (especially abs) and more energetic.
The coaches are all high energy, keep things challenging and fun, and are there to help with form, weight selection and options if I'm feeling uncomfortable with an exercise. They are truly invested in my fitness.
I have met friends in class who help challenge me, keep me accountable and make coming to the gym a high point in my day.

   Read moreI can’t say enough about Derek and team. I attended a group fitness class but it wasn’t for me. I was looking for something different but I decided to reach out months later to discuss personal training and signed up with their semi-private training. I am an athlete that has no problem exercising or counting macros but I thought I was an emotional binge eater. Come to find out I wasn’t fueling properly. Derek had me eat more and exercise less. I lost 8lbs in 6 weeks (I’m already fit) but more than anything my energy levels are through the roof and I’m stronger. Derek knows what he’s doing, I trust him and I’m a hard critic. Courtney, for me is an excellent trainer. She pushes hard but focuses on the right things. She strike a perfect balance of grit and grace, I love working with her.
