This is the worst camp my kid had in last 4 years of summer camps he has done. My kid landed at urgent care by the last day of the camp with stitches on his eyebrows. The shocking part is not that my kid got hurt ( that may happen sometimes when kids play and make bad choices) but how it happened and how the instructor in charge(Bergen) and the owner(Adam) behaved post the incident. They allowed the kids to mess around with a PVC pipe at the front desk that ended up hurting my kid. The behavior from the camp folks after the incident was just plain shocking and unbelievable. Nobody called to tell us what happened. We came to know when our neighbour messaged and dropped our kid home. We called the camp folks and left voicemail and no one responded for an hour. When I called them again, they picked up and werenât at all apologetic about what happened and kept saying that my kid made bad choices and as a fault this accident happened. When I asked why I wasnât contacted and given incident report, they had no answer for that. The owner was very defensive(and non apologetic) to what happened and after a long discussion finally admitted to the misses they did post incident. Really disappointing and bad experience that I am never...
Read moreAdam and his staff are a great group! So far I've only seen them teaching elementary age kids and they are always kind and patient.
They evaluated my son and he started out in a level 1 class, but as he progressed, they bumped him up to the level class at a very appropriate time. He wasn't frustrated in the new class, but was definitely challenged by it.
It is also great that they change the obstacles around every couple of weeks. This gives the kids opportunities to learn new things and overcome new challenges.
One of the kids favorite activities seems to be parkour tag. They play with the instructors and race through the gym across the obstacles trying to tag each other. It definitely encourages them to stretch outside their natural comfort zone.
The viewing area can be a bit challenging, but I hear Adam has plans to improve options for the parents to watch what their kiddos are doing.
All in all, I would highly recommend Dynasty Fitness if you have kids that are interested in learning parkour in a safe friendly...
Read moreUpdate: Every time I think about checking this place out, I am forced to reiterate my one star review because it is so hard to get information about its operations. After the snarky response to my review someone emailed me and advised that we should come in for an open gym session. But itâs impossible to figure out WHEN I should go for an open gym session based on their online info. When I click on âopen gymâ on their website itâs actually not even a link. The schedule search actually says there are no options available when I put in my kidsâ ages. Why even have a website if it doesnât work properly?
Why is it so hard to find information about these classes? When are they? What age kidsâ classes are offered? This all seems like very basic information but the only thing available on their website to âlearn moreâ is one customer testimonial and a...
