Loma Theater — Local services in Socorro

I took my kids to enjoy a movie for their birthdays. It’s the first time they’ve stepped into a theater since the pandemic hit. Only to find out they were harassed, threatened &yelled at by an old man &woman. They made some of the other kids so uncomfortable that they called their dad to pick them up early. The old man followed them out harassing still. &Instead of the worker taking both sides of the story, she instantly banned the young girls. This is disgusting & unacceptable behavior from ANY place of business that takes your money. I will not be spending another dollar here. First and LAST time. For a small town like Socorro, this place is great. Good seating with a comfortable atmosphere. Concession has what you need. Staff is always friendly. The prices are good. The only drawback is there is only one auditorium so not all movies are shown here. It's a small theatre so that makes sense. And it's more family friendly in the movies they do show. My family and I have been attending shows at the Loma for years for both public events and private events. We cannot say enough wonderful things about the theater and it's staff! It's adorable, clean, has a wide variety of snacks and drinks that are always fresh, a comfy theater and the staff is always kind and accommodating.
