I have been a customer of BBTS since 2021, and I must say, changing to purchasing my collectibles from BBTS was the best decision I could have made. Everything about dealing with them is a pleasure and takes all the stress away from purchasing collectibles online.
From the pre-order system, to the pile-of-loot, to shipping, I never have a single worry dealing with them.
They are up front about everything, and go out of their way to provide piece of mind. The biggest example of this that comes to mind is from 2022 (I realize this example is from a few years ago, but it still sticks in my mind), is when I bought a full size replica of the Masters of the Universe Sword of Power, He-Man was, and still is, my favourite from growing up. I live in Canada, so I was a little worried about if there would be an issue with it getting across the border, it is a sword after all. So I called BBTS to talk to customer service about this and get their opinion, and the response was better then I could ask for, I quote, 'We've never experienced and issue regarding that, because what is supposed to matter is what the item is declared as and it will be declared as a collectible, however, IF there is any kind of issue when it hits the border, you call us immediately. That is our issue to deal with, not yours.' So I per-ordered the Sword of Power, fulfilling a childhood dream of obtaining it, was so happy when it arrived a few months later (completely pointless fun fact: I used to cry as a kid that I couldn't save people the way He-Man did). Then I pre-ordered the Sword of Omens as well, cause it's equally iconic to a child of the 80's.
Which brings me to my 2nd point, I love, and I mean LOVE, the pile-of-loot system. It is a fantastic way to help the collector save on shipping, and I have used it many times because I know I have some pre-orders that should be arriving around the same time. And if one of them is late, BBTS will guaranteed be in touch with a new projected arrival date shortly so they don't leave you hanging.
Now to my 3rd point, and perhaps one of the most important aspects for me, the shipping process, once it leaves their hands and is entrusted to a shipping company, which can be stressful in it's own right. But, BBTS has so many shipping options that you can use a shipping method you're comfortable with, I usually prefer FedEx myself. But, the way that BBTS packs everything being shipped with such care and thought and a very healthy amount of QUALITY bubble wrap, I know, without a single doubt, that my collectibles are going to show up in perfect condition, and the boxes they're in, cause for me, part of the collection is the box!
Oh, one extra point, I really appreciate that the sales emails of new arrivals or new pre-orders you get from BBTS are always based on past purchase history, not just spamming with everything they have arriving. It's targeted and greatly appreciated.
So to sum it all up, if you haven't bought from BBTS yet and you're a collector, I suggest you give them a shot, I know you'll be happy you did. And to BBTS, thank you for being so awesome, and thank you for helping this 80's child fulfill a childhood dream, you have no idea how happy it made me, and if I could paraphrase He-Man... 'I have the power.... sword!'

They delayed shipping my item and charging my card the amount I authorized because THEY made a mistake (according to one customer service agent) in needing to have me verify my payment. Then they were incredibly patronizing and blamed me? I havenāt had fraud on my card, Iāve purchased from them several times before and they said it was suspicious of me to have another account with the same name and same address but different email address? Not sure how that is fraud? Ever had a full inbox that you had to create a new email? How is it fraud if Iām going to charge myself on my own card and send myself the item to my address, the same address under my same name on the other account with a different email?!? What is more fraudulent is a company charging a different amount on my card other than the amount I authorized and not shipping my item in the time frame authorized and not upholding their end of the transaction and making up new hoops to jump through. When an item says āāAVAILABLE TO SHIP NOWā as my high dollar item stated, I took that as that it was available to ship now- not in an undetermined amount of time made up by a bunch of rude jerks who get off on being rude and NOT HELPING!!!
I verified the fake payment almost instantly and they essentially ghosted me - days before Christmas when every single business day is crucial. When I called customer service I was told they could cancel my order or I could wait longer and be more patient? No, just ship my order. I did get upset with the terrible customer service agents after they repeatedly disrespected me, would not let me speak or finish a single sentence and weāre providing 0 customer service. The one issue I had was credit card related because I changed my billing address. In no way was that their fault and the lady I spoke with was extremely polite and helpful. Got the order processed and all was good, and it has been for a long time now.
I keep reading these reviews complaining about preorders and how some come early and it was taken from their bank account so theyāre mad, or they came late and customers are mad. I dunno maybe use a credit card or donāt preorder if you canāt swing it. The reality is itās impossible for some companies to know when their orders will arrive. Iāve had items arrive all at once a month before they were expected and others arrive months after expected with the date getting pushed out a few months.
The one thing I do know is that when my orders arrive they are usually packed so well, you can almost guarantee there will be no damage. Knock on wood but I have never had any items damaged in transit. I canāt say the same about Hasbro Pulse, Amazon, Walmart, Target and a few other niche companies. Sometimes I will spend the extra for shipping charges and order from BBTS just to make sure that my items arrive undamaged because Hasbro Pulse is a joke.
I donāt know what I would do without BBTS. I have a few other sources for the items I order but I keep coming back to BBTS because the prices are good and they usually have what Iām looking for.
