We went to take some pictures, not the cleanest of water, full of algae and probably mosquito in warmer weather. Would be nice to include more information about how the lock mechanism worked, as it was I went online to find pictures to explain to my daughter. On my first day...in DC no leas... I saw a snake, 11 deer, dozens of ducks, dozens of turtles, and several beautiful birds. The towpath is graded nicely for walking or biking.
