Lowe's Market — Local services in Somerset

Nice and quaint. Most items are a bit pricey but it’s never really a busy store and you can go in and get out quickly. For nearly a year I’ve been going there a few times a month. As I’m passing through Somerset I usually stop to purchase snacks or sometimes a few quick groceries. My only issue is the older white lady that works at the check stand near the entrance. Never a smile on her face and always seems like she’s unhappy. I can say hello and she will never return a hello or a hi or not even a thank you. Only thing she ever says is “Is that it?” She does it to everyone. How can Lowe’s have someone so unhappy and rude working at a check stand? Years ago I worked at HEB in the San Antonio and Austin areas and friendliness with coworkers and customers was upmost importance regardless of what department you worked. Dollar General down the road is probably going to be a better option...

What I like about this store is that they always have fresco fruit and veggie ,and all types of spices you can not find at other stores. And the prices for those items are also reasonable. They also have all types of small bottles drinks,from sodas,various fruits,ect.,that are delicious! I am praying that the store updated their handicap parking,since they only have two spots,since the store opened it's doors décadas ago,and to many handicaps now a days,that you find no place to park close to and you in your medical limitations. The store also has to update to more than one handicap food shopping scooter,for you will have to wait on that one scooter,or just leave and shop somewhere else,where they provided more scooters for the handicap...

I come here all the time since its the closest store near my house because i live in Somerset , most stuff is not cheap and there is no deals most of the time only if the products are about to expire , staff is mostly nice and talkative which i like because we see them all the time almost everyday. Bought ice cream no more than 2 weeks ago here and tasted funny decided to look at the expiration date and it was expired in December 2024 and is march now , there was no discount ice cream tasted old and not good they should not sell products that...
