Based on the many positive reviews of this business, I took my android tablet in for repair as the screen began malfunctioning with white horizontal lines flickering on the display. When I brought the tablet in, the technician (Will) stated it was a problem they have seen and repaired many times before and stated it was most likely a defective screen. He further advised he would have it diagnosed at the very latest the next day and would call me with an estimate. After not hearing from him for one week (I suspect he totally forgot about my repair order and "spaced" it) I called to check the status of my tablet. After being placed on hold for a period of time Will advised the screen was in fact defective and needed to be replaced. After quoting an estimate, I agreed to the repair. Will stated he would order a new screen which would take a few days and would have the job completed by the end of the week. After not hearing from him by his stated time, I called regarding the status of my repair and was told the screen did not arrive and was given various lame excuses as to the delay. Will then affirmed the screen would arrive the following day and he would immediately repair it. Since he failed to contact me after several days I called him again. Will initially stated the screen came in and it would be replaced and the job completed the same date. Good enough. He subsequently called several hours later and left a message that the screen he ordered had a vertical surface scratch on it and he would discount the repair by $25. A short time later, his partner Miles called and said the new screen was actually defective (would not work) and needed to be reordered (obviously no communication between these two technicians). Given this conflicting information I went to the shop personally to discuss this repair job. Will provided various flimsy excuses for the protracted time it took to deal with this issue, then offered to deduct $25 off the repair bill if I accepted the screen with a scratch embedded on it. He then pivoted and stated the entire screen was actually defective and he would need to order a new one. My observation in discussing this issue with Will is that he appeared to be a "deer caught in the headlights" and "danced around" the entire issue, providing no viable answers to any of my questions regarding the repair of my tablet. Given my ongoing negative experience dealing with this business, plus Will's lame excuses and total lack of concern regarding my repair, I decided to "cut my losses" and took my tablet and cancelled the repair order.
What was to take a day for an estimate and at most one week for a repair, ended up being a three week fiasco of nothing being accomplished, failure to follow through with return phone calls, misinformation, and the technicians not having a clue regarding the repair of my tablet.

Read moreI was having issues with my flash drive. Every time I inserted it into my computer, nothing happened. It would not open up any of my files. The drive wouldn't even light up like it typically does. I had our company's IT person take a look at it and couldn't help. I called a nearby cellphone repair shop and asked if they fixed flash drives. They stated no and recommended Miles Phone and Computer Repair. I called them and asked if they repaired flash drives so I could get all my files back. They stated yes!
The following day, I arrived and let them know that I needed important files out of my flash drive that was no longer working. They informed me that they could help, and I left my contact information with them as well. About 3/4 days later, I did not hear anything back. I called and asked if I could get an update. They looked into it and informed me that they still haven't taken a look at it. I understood and left it at that. About a week later, I still did not hear anything back. I called again and they informed me that they had ordered something for my flash drive in attempt to get my files back and apologized for not letting me know what was going on. About a week and a half later, I still didn't hear anything back, so I called again to check on the status. They then informed me that they were able to get my files back and I could stop by any time they were open!

Read moreLoved this little place! I had an external hard drive crash and Miles and his colleague were thorough and very honest when trying to recover the drive. They were also sympathetic and recognized my urgency (I'm a wedding photographer and although had a back up of the RAW files, I was about to lose hours and hours of work). While they labored over trying to recover it, I noticed a used/refurbished laptop which fit the bill in use and affordability in helping me update my workflow. They helped reassure me in my purchase by showing me some online information on this particular computer and also gave me a warrantee on the refurbished work they did on the machine. It's been working well now for several months and had sped up my workflow considerably.
I meant to write this review months ago, but it took me a while to redo my work after I took the time to set up my new computer and it slipped through the cracks.
