Lost its charm I'm in South Bend once a year to meet friends and have gone back to South Bend Chocolate factory and outlet store ON WEST SAMPLE STREET several times. I no longer recommend it. I couldn't find the items I like in the outlet store. Perhaps that could part of the supply chain issues everywhere. However, their attention to detail and customer care and family feeling has also declined. First, the website is messed up and sends you to a mall store or even a clinic in maps/directions, and my call just after they called was routed to a mall security desk. I wouldn't blame Google since I've personally found them quick to resolve direction mistakes. Second, I knew things were bad for the employees when one told me that they had a special on chocolate covered pretzels bags at two for $25. I asked how they could cost one for $12 and 2 for $25 and her response indicated it made no sense to her either. My impression is that the problems likely need to be resolved at the top, and the employees can just work there in...

I was in line at this location speaking to my wife at 3:28 to decide what she wanted to eat. We finished the phone call at 3:29 while the man behind the counter was cleaning his flat top.
