this store needs to go under investigation. there is some sort of racket going on here. not only do they pull all the colors of the week the night before so nobody gets a "sale" item but they also are over pricing items to be insane.. treasure island is a prime example of this. look how long everything has been sitting there. the hats went from $1.99 to $10.99 and they are selling used shirts you can go 2 miles down the road to ross or marshals and get the same exact shirt brand new for 1-2more dollars. i get that reselling has become a thing and they want to cut out the middleman and take all the profit for themselves.. but i truly belive something corrupt is going on at this location its so obvious. even some of the employees are saying whats going on is not right. im not going to mention any names but its very upsetting to see families in need not afford anything you sell so you can pull sale items and paint your a/c vents blue.. i want to report this location to the BBB i think an investigation needs to be open because they do price manipulation as well as sale manipulation of items while falsely advertising to the public in an email and or flyers around the store. i watch employs take stuff off the racks into the back room and overhear management up in their little tower talk about how they need to pull these items before the end of the day. this used to be a great goodwill but it rapidly has turned to straight trash.. WAY WAY over priced. and then the boutique opened and it is so laughable how long some of the items sit in there let alone the entire store. then you go to another good will and see that they transfer the items to another location in hopes it will sale... the manatee ave goodwill is the only last standing great location to get anything for a fair price. who ever is incharge of management and merchence pricing needs to make some adjustments there is a thread on reddit about this goodwill and how others see the scams going on here. thats why the numbers in this store are high because they straight...
Read moreI give this a 3 out of 5 because when I called to check on a book series I had seen a few days earlier (I SHOUKD have gotten it when I saw it) and being an hour away, I thought I would call to see if the book series was still there b/4 we made the hour long trip. The lady on the phone said it wasnât there BEFORE I even told her which book series it was. đ I asked her if sheâd like to know the series and I then told her. Her answer was, âI donât think itâs here!â No, let me go check just PURE LAZY! Hubby decided to take me anyway b/c that just ticked him off and we would then go get lunch at least. Got there and VOILĂ- my book series WAS RIGHT THERE! Exact same spot it was a few days earlier! What kind of customer service is that? BUTâŚI give a 5/5 âď¸ to the young cashier, EVE! She was so friendly and fun to talk to. Maybe phone lady should take lessons from EVE on proper customer service. HOPEFULLY, the mgr. reads this post and give acolades to EVE and the what for to...
Read moreWe were so excited that we found a Keurig to replace my old one. It looked to be in good condition so we bought it $9.99. When I got it home I began to clean it so I could start using it. Once filled with liquid I started it and it dripped for a few minutes (like literally little drops) then turned off without finishing. There was barely 1/4 inch of liquid in the cup. I tried again and same thing. Does Goodwill check the products brought in to make sure they work so you arenât selling broken items? I do not live in the area where I purchased it. I cannot bring it back to the store. So Iâm out $10 and no Keurig. I honestly hope you do check them and this item was overlooked. Iâm so disappointed. Selling items without checking to see if they work...
