We were in Florida for a week vacation during Spring Break, and after reading some good reviews, we decided to stay at the Country Inn & Suites in Bradenton. The location was perfect for us, whether we wanted to go to the beaches in Sarasota (Lido and Siesta Key beach) or visit the downtown Marina area. Everything was at the most 30 minutes away. Chris greeted us when we arrived and checked us in. He was friendly and asked us to let him know if we needed anything during our stay. When we got to our room, it was nice and clean. Our stay the entire time was enjoyable. the only small issue we had was that the drain in the shower wasn't draining fast enough and collected water on the bottom of the tub. If there's something that could be done to remedy this issue, it would be great. We stayed in room number 306. The hotel was within walking distance to a Publix grocery store and a few other local restaurants and bars nearby, which made it convenient to do some shopping or get a quick bite to eat. The best part, of course, was the complimentary breakfast in the morning. The selection was quite nice, and Ruth, who was attending to the guests in the breakfast area, was friendly and helpful. We were able to park our vehicle in front of the hotel most of the time, but they have plenty of space in the rear of the hotel that is very well lit in the evenings when returning late. They have a small pool in the front that we did not utilize, but there were plenty of people hanging out and congregating in the area most of the time. The ice machine on the 3rd floor also needs to be repaired, but we didn't use that either, so no harm, no foul. Just a suggestion for future guests of the hotel. Overall, it was a great experience for the money. We would gladly return here in the future if we are in the area.

I recommend country inn to anyone who's reading my post. It's one the best hotel I've been in. The front desk was great. On the counter there was complimentary USA paper to read. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast in the morning is the buffet of all buffet varieties like bacon sausage Canadian bacon cereals bread muffins milk juices etc.etc..it has a pool gym mostly cardio to burn off the breakfast lol. It's right sr 70 in bradenton florida

Very old hotel, not renovated, far away from the center… full of dust, lizard in the room, stain in the sheet… gosh a total disaster… how even don’t know how it meets the acceptable standards of a 3 stars hotel. Supposed to stay there 3 nights. Checked out after the first one.

Well when I checked in on Saturday the pink haired girl said my reservation was till November 7th I'm traveling with an 87-year-old mother. On the 29th. I went downstairs to ask to change rooms due to the clanging of the door at least 50 times at night. And she told me I was checking out today on the 29th. I said no. Your reservation is wrong and I am staying through FEMA. I was just told to pack my stuff up. It in her office, and when a room would be ready they would deliver it to the new room. But. But. She said I had to check out and make a new reservation. And she wasn't sure if she could get a hold of FEMA or that they would have a room for us to stay in. What a mess. Yes I did raise my voice. And tried to get her to understand that she was in the wrong. At this point she threatened to call the police on me. So I said please do. And I've waited now an hour and a half to speak to the general manager. Of course I'm not going to stay here any longer for the noise and the way I've been treated but I would like to just have been able to speak to somebody. I have never been treated so rude in my whole life. I have worked for hotels for 22 years and this is my first true complaint. The lady ran with what she saw on the computer. And I'm not sure why I was treated this way. So if you're going to look for a room for FEMA maybe try another hotel. They have a night auditor that is absolutely awesome. And a morning cook who does housekeeping also that was absolutely fantastic. I do not recommend this hotel to anybody needing help through FEMA. They treat...

I chose this hotel because of its rating but it was definitely not accurate. Right off the bat it started off wrong. I was charged for one night before I even arrived then charged the full amount. Walk in the room smells like dirty mop water which drove us nuts. But if you switch rooms it’s just going to be the same dirty mop water Pool was dirty so no pool. Which I thought I read that it was down months ago I guess still down we’re in August maybe it’ll be working by the winter you know when people need to cool down. They told us they would accommodate if you don’t eat pork well not everyone eats pork which all the other choice hotels we have stayed at did accommodate us but that was a lie which basically is what the front desk said about the previous gentleman that told us only pork they don’t even get turkey based for those that don’t eat pork so if you don’t eat pork go elsewhere they won’t accommodate you. Then as the icing there was a roach oh yes let us not forget the very rude woman don’t know if she was custodial or what just flat out rude. So no it’s not an exceptional hotel I wouldn’t even call it fair so far I’m checking and I don’t even see that I stayed at this hotel on my choice app guess I’m going to have to contact them about this too cause they couldn’t even get that right even though they knew enough...
