I am a regular shopper here and normally have a great experience with everyone at checkout. Today I went to check out 3 items with Lisa and my Apple Pay was not going through for some reason and my physical card was in my car. Instead of trying to help with a solution she said her loudly âwhat are you doing wrong because itâs not workingâ. I told Her I would Have to go to my car to get my physical card and she can go ahead and cancel my order as there were people standing behind me in line and did not want to hold them up. I walk back in with my card and she slammed her hand down on the counter and sighed like she was annoyed with me and said âletâs get this going and try this againâ. She was talking very nicely to the lady infront of me saying hello and smiling along with the lady behind me but for some reason when I got To the register I was Nor greeted with a hello instead âput your phone number inâ.    Read moreI Went through check out and the cashier mumbled something about the special on one of my items. I misunderstood and told her that I did want the items. When I looked at the screen to pay I saw the special and told her I wanted to go back and grab the free item I had coming, she sarcastically says, "That's what I asked you the first time." I told her nevermind, the items could be returned to the shelves. I went and asked for a manager. I told the woman about my experience and added if the cashier had spoke clearly and articulately maybe I would have understood the special but that was still no excuse to speak that way to a customer. She just stared at me for a few seconds and in a very robotic and unemotional manner say, " I'm sorry for your experience." Again just staring at me with a blank look on her face. I'm appalled as to my last few visits here as each resulted in a minimum loss of 40...and twice was 50 plus dollars that I was overcharged. To add insult to injury upon going back the first episode and having manager refund me the first 40...he tried to sneak back 25 on my card and kept the other 15. Only after getting home and realizing he put 25 back on card..he put 15 cash back on receipt that he never gave me. So I only knew this as I called my card company and my balance didn't seem correct. So I scanned receipt and noticed the 15 cash back on line 2.so I went back to store to confront manager for third time....he handed over the cash. This type of occurrence has seemed to become the norm in our beautiful city. Shameful...I have caught nearly all stores, except Walmart ripping me off. Never will I frequent a WinnDixie...and it cost your store four other weekly...
