I have suffered from migraines for the past 4 years they’ve gotten to the point we’re it’s 3-4 times a week to the point where I have to miss school, I’ve had 3 visits to the ER due to how BAD they’ve gotten, they affect my body functions, vision, and the ability to keep down food. I’ve done all the tests and nothing. Tried several medications that didn’t help. I was tired of taking medication one day I was doing some research to find out what other ways I could help prevent or control them I came across a piercing called the Tragus. It took a while to convince my mom but she finally gave in. I went to @kokopelliink shop and my piercers name is JD (@piercings_by_jd) I got my left side done 2 weeks ago and the pressure and pain in my head instantly reduced as soon as the needle went through. Today I got my right side done and again more pressure has relieved. I haven’t had an unbearable migraine since my first piercing. Also the piercing pain did not compare to the pain of my migraines. BAD PIERCING EXPERIENCE. I got an industrial (cartilage) done by Johnny. It always had keloids/irritation bumps on and never healed for a whole YEAR straight. I went to another piercer to get the jewelry switched, only to find out that I never had the correct anatomy to begin with (hence why it never healed.) Once the jewelry was switched, my piercings healed in no time. Johnny failed to consider my ears anatomy and still gave me the piercing. He also never walked me through the process or gave me ANY info on how to heal it properly. I fear for other people getting piercings that need correct anatomy bc he does not check for it :( Please DO NOT go here for piercings !!

EDIT: I'm so disappointed in the response by Johnny. How unprofessional and immature. I never meant to personally attack you or degrade you. I was just addressing the horrible situation I was put through and staying the facts of the matter. A simple apology or just taking accountability would've been enough. You're just proving others how silly you are...

I've never gotten a tattoo here so I cannot review that portion of the shop, but I HAVE gotten pierced multiple times by Johnny, the resident piercer (@johnnydapiercer). Before my most recent visit, I had my nostril and septum pierced by Johnny. I went this past weekend to get my nipples pierced by him and the service was great, so I felt compelled to let the people know! Johnny is a professional in every sense of the word. He is very nice, confident, and is straight to the point. I love that he has his own private room in the back of the shop. I was so anxious about getting my nips pierced, but Johnny's presence was very calming and led to a very fast and easy transaction. He charges 40 per piercing, and that includes some very basic, piercing-safe jewelery. I got both nips pierced, so it came out to 80 bucks. If I had to get them pierced again, I would definitely come back to him.
