My daughter had the pleasure to try out gi, nogi jiu jitsu and wrestling and she instantly felt welcomed at the Wolves Den! She absolutely loved being there! We were only in town for 2 weeks but she enjoyed training here. She loved the games and learning new strategies to elevate her blooming skills.
From a parentâs perspective, I appreciated the details and discipline the professor and the wrestling coaches put in their teaching to help the students to level up their craft. They are also very observant to each studentâs needs and what each student needs to work on individually as well as a team. We are a military family and the discipline to strengthen my daughter not just physically but mentally and emotionally was important to me and was one of the qualities they provided that I truly appreciated. The quality of care and dedication they have for the students are motivating and genuine. I also loved the cleanliness of the gym! That was another important value they have that made us comfortable.
My mom was also able to watch her granddaughter train for wrestling on our last day and she really enjoyed it! It was her first time watching her granddaughter train in person and she said it was really fun to watch! She also thought the coaches were great, caring and detailed.
Our overall experience was exceptional! We are grateful for warmly and kindly welcoming us. There was no need to check out other training facilities I had on my list because on the first day we stepped foot in there for my daughter to train, everything felt right for her. The Wolves Den will now be my daughterâs home away from home every time we come visit California again!
Thank you everyone at The Wolves Den! You all were top notch!!! Until...

I just need to let other parents know that if you have a child under 7 it's best not to bring them here because they prioritize the bigger kids here or rather, children that don't give them a hard time learning what they teach. They expect the little kids to watch without physical guidance and then embarrass them in front of the whole class with parents included because they can't get it right. My child was left traumatized and despises this class. My child was 5 when he was there.
Do your research on these gyms, sit in them before you expose your children to them or anything. It's not worth hurting them over "let's see how they do". (This was...

If you learn a martial art, you learn to be dangerousâ but simultaneously, you learn to control it. Both of those come together.
And the combination of that capacity for danger and the capacity for control is what brings about the virtue.
Otherwise, you confuse weakness with moral virtue. âIâm harmless, therefore Iâm good.â No. That isnât how it works.
If youâre harmless, youâre just weak. And if youâre weak, youâre not going to be good. You canât be.
Because it takes strength to be good. Itâs very difficult to be good.â â Jordan B. Peterson
