If your car is at-least few years old, have minor scratches (fine and/or intermediate), has moderate level swirls marks all over the car's body already and you want a quick wash to get rid of dirts and other things on a regular basis, El Car wash might work for you. It will save you time in your busy schedule.
But, if you have a new car (particularly dark colors such as black), and you wish to keep it scratch and swirls free, automatic car washes such as El car wash is a bad idea for you. I got my brand new (few days old) car fine scratched and swirls all over after a single wash at El Car wash. I read it many times on other's reviews but I thought (no logic -_-) it's rare or wouldn't happen to me. If you are lucky, you may get fewer ones, but no way to avoid it. Sands from a dirty car stays in the washing brushes and scratch all the cars washed afterwards (a common issue with all automatic wash I believe), something I didn't notice when I used to get my previous car (7 yrs old model) washed at El car wash, because there were already fine scratches on it for me to notice new fine ones and swirls. Also, I didn't care much with the prev car. I had to get a two stage paint correction done to get rid of those scratches I got after a single wash at El car wash. Anyway, I learnt my lesson and have been doing self or touch-less car washes since, and it's been great tbh. I thought this review might save someone some stress, time and money :)
Other things: Couldn't find clean microfiber towels most of the times I went there with my previous car. 2 out of 5 times on average the areas near the wheels weren't washed for some reason. The employees are nice though.
Update 04-07-2023 (5:30 pm): After getting replies from the owner, I emailed the customer service. I will update this comment once I hear from them.

Read moreI visited this car wash yesterday. When I got home I noticed an area of chipped/scratched off paint on my Jeep. It's located above the rear wheel on the driver's side. My jeep is only 2 years old (2020) so theres no reason paint chipping should be happening. I drove back to the car wash 40 min after my wash (20 min to get home, 20 min drive back) and asked to speak to the manager. The first guy that approached me of course said he was the manager. He said a million cars have gone through the car wash and this has never happened, that there's zero possibility this happened during the car wash. He proceeded to assume that this probably happened at a store with a shopping cart or something along those lines. If you look at the picture, there are no dents or paint residue that would demonstrate this happened with another vehicle or object. The manager then walked me over to another customer and asked the customer if he had just gone through the car wash to show me that the other customer's vehicle was fine. First of all, I have an SUV and the other guy had a small little car. The difference in size and shape of the cars clearly matters and just because my car was damaged does not mean every single other car would be damaged. I did not appreciate that he involved another customer, this is very unprofessional. This manager wasn't very helpful so I sent an email to the customer service email and will also be leaving a complaint on Better Business Bureau.
I've used this car wash several times at the Hialeah location and my car is never really completely clean, it isn't the best wash but I continued to go because of the...
Read moreMy car sustained $2,500.00 in damages going through the carwash. On 01/28/2024 at the El Car Wash located at 6901 sw 40th Street, Miami, FL 33155, I was taking my newly purchased 2020 full sized truck through the car wash. I'd been through it in my smaller previous truck many times in the past with no issue. Half of the way through the wash, I felt my car jerk to the right. In a panic, and as the track continued to push me forward, I began honking my horn to have the machine stop. I was directed out, but it was too late. A long white scratch all of the way to the metal went across two passenger doors. As I approached the office, the "manager" was immediately in denial of any liability. He told me that he "could not help me, and to contact corporate". He did allow me to fill out a report through there system, at which point they'd "review the footage, and contact me within 72 hours". That of course never happened despite my numerous in person, and over the phone follow ups. One thing is to assume no liability, but it's another to dismiss me, and be completely unresponsive of my claim. I have since hired a lawyer who sent in a demand letter over a month ago. We of course have still received no response. So because they clearly do pay attention to their google reviews, I'm here to make it known, and to inform El Car Wash that we are indeed filing a claim through small claims court. And as a resident in good standing with the community, I'll make sure to keep my voice heard as I'm sure they get away with ignoring most of...
