As a guy who usually just wants a quick trim and out the door, I have to say this salon/barber shop completely changed my perspective on what a haircut experience can be.

I went in for a regular cut, but their new wash station chairs are next level. The thing literally transforms into a bed with a built-in massage system - I felt a bit awkward at first, but after a brutal week, it was exactly what I didn't know I needed. The person washing my hair gave me this incredible scalp massage that had me falling asleep in the chair.

Then they asked if I wanted to try their golden face mask. Honestly, I've never done anything like that before, but I was so relaxed from the massage that I figured, why not extend the massage and give the mask a shot? Zero regrets - my skin actually feels great!

The whole thing was way more relaxing than I expected. I came in thinking I'd be in and out in 30 minutes, but ended up staying for the full experience. The staff was cool about everything and didn't make it feel weird or overly fancy - just professional and chill.

Today was my third visit to Palette. After trimming my hair a month prior I asked Amy to help address my ends again with another trim. Amy took it as a personal attack and instead of letting me finish discussing options started insulting my hair telling me it was dry, broken and "I DID MY PART and flicked my ends saying I didnt want to touch all this dryness. Your hair needs multiple cuts & at least 6 months to not look dry and i need to look into more conditioning options" True its dry, thats why im back for more help! I felt completely caught off guard by her hostile demeanor. Surprised by her cold response i said "Well maybe i should just do a cut today if its so unhealthy and no be coloring". She then got even more angry and layed into me for not calling sooner to rebook only cut (um why would i call when i knew i had a follow up appt? )& wasting her time that was blocked for cut and color. Cindy Doan is your go to girly honestly. i was scared at first to redo my hair after my experience in the past. From the jump she made me feel comfortable and welcomed.
