Terrible customer service! Sold me a defective battery, then denied it being defective upon return. Within the first 24 hours the battery froze, and she assured me this is a very common occurrence. I don’t know about you but I’ve never even heard of a brand new, let alone old battery freezing. Upon returning I was only given a loaner battery while they recharged the defective one after asking for one. I was then charged for using their loaner while they recharged and repaired my frozen battery which was defective to begin with. After years of loyalty to this local business, I will be going elsewhere for my battery needs...

Had some headlight flickering going on that morning and took my car to Hurwitz to get checked out. They tested the system for free and found the problem to be the alternator. They didn't try to sell me something I didn't need and directed me on what needed to be done to fix the problem even though their business didn't make a dime. Will definitely go back and also recommend them to family...

My car died unexpectedly . I have been visiting family this week and need to leave for home tomorrow. Bangor, Maine, 12 hours away. I needed help and these folks stepped up.
