The Potting Bench Greenhouse, Ice Cream, & Workshop — Restaurant in South Williamsport

Cute little venue. Has both scooped and soft serve ice cream and has a variety of sundae toppings and "signature" offerings. We had the fluffernutter sundae and the salted caramel pretzel sundae. The caramel they use is so thick and delicious and the pretzels gave just enough salt and crunch to break up the sweet. The peanut butter sauce was a great compliment to the marshmallow and the crunchy peanut butter cookies added a delightful crunch. Located at a greenhouse/plant shop, it would make for a perfect treat after selecting your own garden additions. The Potting Bench just keeps getting better and better. They have a wonderful selection of plants. Many different varieties of flowers with an assortment of colors that are always exactly what me and my family are looking for. The staff is very friendly and willing to help if you have any questions. They are also quick to assist you or get boxes if it's more then you can handle. They also have crafts and other specials to watch out for like fresh produce. With the addition of ice cream and desserts it makes a trip there even sweeter. Update: 4-13-25 Visited this weekend on Sat. and Sun. Had the thin mint parfait and the tandycake sundae both were delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. I brought several lovely plants that I am hoping grow really well. ××××××××××××××××××××××××××××× For me this is a must visit place when I visit my daughters. Ice cream and plants are my two favorite things! I have tried the tandycake, blueberry lemon, apple pie, and strawberry cheesecake sundaes. Each were delicious and worth getting each time I visit.
