I recently stopped by The Bridge to enjoy a lunch out alone and for some adult interaction (single mom 2 kids)! I tried a menu item I hadn’t before- The Antipasto Salad, as I was in the mood for an entree salad. I was not disappointed, and honestly never am here! The salad was HUGE, ingredients of highest quality. I ate probably 2/3 of it and the rest for lunch the following day. I’d recommend getting the dressing on the side in case you do the same. The service was great as always, prompt, friendly, nothing forgotten, even good suggestions made. This place reminds me of a Cheers type bar for the local community, I met a couple at the bar who were interesting to talk to and really enjoyed what they came for as well. If you’re from anywhere in the South Williamsport area or driving by on the highway and feel hungry, I’d definitely check it out! I know I’ll eventually have every salad on the menu, and next time I’ll review the highly craveable taco fries.. or the scampi which is honestly the best this foodie and server/bartender has had to date! So happy this historic place is staying a local gem.

The staff was really nice so I feel bad about this review. I was really disappointed about my order. I got birria tacos & they were burnt so bad that I could smell it was burnt before even seeing it. I didn’t wanna judge off of just looking at it so I did still try it. The sauce on the side was spicy & didn’t taste too bad, but the tacos itself just weren’t good the burnt taste was very overwhelming. I feel like if they weren’t burnt it probably would’ve tasted better & I probably could’ve left a better review but honestly I’m just upset I wasted my money. I threw it all away because I couldn’t even eat it. It was $15 & some change for 3 tacos. I just feel like if you saw it was burnt when you made it why would you still give it to the customer instead of remaking it.

Great food and excellent service tonight. Just happened to come in halfway through trivia night and was welcomed warmly and invited to join in. Owner, manager, and every server stopped by our table to see how things were going, if we needed anything, and to welcome us. The crab cake sliders were great and you can tell there is a chef in the back making magic. The apple empanadas with caramel and vanilla ice cream was the stuff of dreams. Can't wait to come back again and see what is new. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Update 08/17/23 - we've been back for trivia almost every week. Food is still great. Service is excellent. Highly recommend The Rachel as well! Friendly atmosphere and you'll become a regular quickly.

Buckle up - this is going to be a long one!

In January 2023 my family started going to trivia nearly every single Thursday night. Shortly after, the new owners took over and the menu changed pretty drastically. We adjusted because we enjoy trivia night and got to know the servers and grew to love seeing them each week. The food quickly started going downhill. It was inconsistent. One week we would get something and it was delicious and the next week we would get the same thing and the ingredients were different and the food was awful. Tonight we went in to find a new menu again. We realized all of the prices went up, which we understand with rising prices in this country but what absolutely floored us is that literally EVERYTHING had an up charge if you wanted to change anything. Going from chips to fries is an obvious up charge. But not being able to select two sides of your choice with your entree is a little over the top. At one point we joked with our server that we were afraid to ask for a box because there might be an upcharge. We sucked it up, we ordered food, we paid the upcharges. And let me say, the servers have NEVER been an issue. They are always great - they know us by name and take care of us so well. When my aunt wrote her review, which she is entitled to do, and expressed her feelings to the cook, the cook threw a hissy fit and called the owner. Half way through trivia the owner stormed in and started cussing at the bar about us. When I began reading her response to my aunts review she came over, stood next to my aunt and said ā€œgo on continue reading what I wroteā€. She started yelling at my aunt about her review in front of the entire restaurant during the trivia game. She stated our review hurts her servers, to which I replied, no YOU and your behavior is hurting your servers. She told us if we don’t like it there’s the door. We paid our bills and left - making sure to tip our amazing server well. The server and host of trivia were very visibly upset about us leaving and apologized profusely about what happened. There wasn’t a single server there that ā€œagreedā€ with the menu change, but they aren’t given a choice in the matter. They all said they questioned it over and over when they were told about it. My advice: avoid a rude, disrespectful, unprofessional owner AND save money on subpar food. Go somewhere that appreciates almost 2 years of your...

The service was excellent. Our guy was SOOO attentive, gave us recommendations, ideas, everything. Was so FRIENDLY and personable and joked around with us. Was FAST too, was able to take care of every table in a row and as soon as the kitchen bell would ding, he was ON IT. And the FOOD?!? AMAZING. I'm a big time foodie. That food is BOUJEE and soooo good! The food that comes out of that kitchen is INSANE. It's not your usual frozen bar junk, they MAKE IT ALL BACK THERE. Buffalo chicken egg rolls were incredible, I wish I had them right now. I got the greek scallops with the maple glaze and when I cleaned my plate, I literally drank the leftover glaze juice from the dish. My partner got the garlic butter haddock with fries and mac.. best Mac and cheese ever, fries were so good, and the fish was buttery flaked and fresh! The drinks were awesome too, I LOVE that they have a specialty drink menu and don't just expect me to know what type of mixed drink I want. When I walked in, I got nervous because the place is small and plain on the inside, but I can't wait to go back and try everything because of how GREAT everything was. I usually always leave with boxes because I can never finish everything and it either gets thrown away or picked at... Well, I CLEANED THE TABLE here because it was SO GOOD so no boxes...
