Sparta Flowers and Gifts are who did the flowers for my wedding. Their prices are more than fair and they have a wide selection and will accommodate any combination that you request. They also had suggestions to make things cheaper for me since flowers in general are not cheap and I was working within a fairly strict budget. The flowers were beautiful, mine and my bridesmaids' bouquets were perfect, and the table arrangements looked amazing. The only negative aspect is that my flowers were delivered at 11:00 a.m. for my 4:30 p.m. wedding on a day when the high was 90 degrees. The roses and greenery did okay, but the hydrangeas absolutely wilted, even with water. The reception area was not shaded until well after noon-one o'clock, so the flowers had to take on the brunt of the sun's heat. When I asked what time they planned on being at the venue to set up, I was only told earlier before the ceremony. Our family ordered a pall and 3 sprays for my brother’s funeral. The only request was for some blue flowers and white roses. Otherwise the type of flower wasn’t specific.

The 6 hydrangea's had brown blooms on them. One side of the pall was different from the other side. The florist didn’t see the issue with the difference and said the cold caused them to be brown.

The sprays were small and were not very pretty. An extended family ordered a spray and it had greenery and wax flowers and about 8 carnations.

We were disappointed and embarrassed.

When I went in to talk to the florist she said we definitely had our monies worth in flowers. I disagreed.

Finally she asked what I wanted her to do. I wanted a refund. She responded that she couldn’t refund flowers because she paid for them. I didn’t point out that we paid for them.

She refunded approximately $203 for 3 sprays and the pall. So basically she was saying she had $800 worth of flowers in them. I wouldn’t have thought a $100.

Recieved flowers from here for Valentine's day...all my roses are leaning toward the back,the baby breaths were not put right in between the roses ..they were hanging on the outside...and the roses had black tips which means they were older and won't last long...the vase is too small so you can't move them at all to put water in...I'd say too rushed or...
