Food was really good. Service was not. The person taking the orders was more interested in her phone. It was our first time there so we weren't knowledgeable about how the process worked. You have to order and pay for the food in a different location from where you order and pay for drinks. Strange. This seemed to frustrate the order taker who kinda left us to figure it all out. We were the only ones in line so we weren't holding up anyone else. Ordered a HB with grilled onions and it came with a pile of jalapeños on it and you just can't get that off. Didn't want to wait another 45 min for another one so only burned through about a quarter of it. Pimento cheese burger and fried pickles were great. Tables were dirty and never saw one being cleaned. We were there at 2pm on a Saturday so they were not busy. Seemed that the place is geared towards a local, often returning beer drinking crowd, not folks dropping in for the First time. As a 1st time visit, we were less than impressed and no intentions of returning. We were not greeted when we entered, We were surprised to find the food was completely seperate from the bar side, There were no wait staff visible, if there were any at all, The food- although plentiful - lacked flavor. loaded? nachos (i ordered without onions and jalapenos) a burger and fries fried mushrooms. We ordered from the bar side our dark draft beer, which honestly lacked the boldness of flavor that I enjoy about dark beer. The vibe in the room, which one would think lively, was almost hostile in nature, making us feel as though we were in the way. Which in turn prompted us to get up and leave as soon as we finished our overpriced, lackluster offerings. Thank you but...

Service at the bar and kitchen were good. Unfortunately the kitchen ran out of food. Half of our party had to buy what seemed like scraps of things that could be thrown together. I bought a cheeseburger but they'd run out of fries. And the beer fridge was also mostly empty it appeared. I asked for 2 things off the menu and neither were in stock.

This is a nice space but when you have a nice day, which was forecasted, a nice space, and clearly expecting a crowd by bringing in a DJ, stock your kitchen so customers aren't reduced to buying just fried pickles and cheese sandwiches.
