DEAR SPARTA AND ALL SURROUNDING AREAS!!!!! Fil-Thai in Sparta, is that Diamond 💎 in the ruff you have all been waiting for and dreaming about. Please pardon my Sicilian... But just so you know that I am not an owner/employee/paid to reviewer poster person. This DAMN place is the real deal. The owner is from the Philippines. And the entire menu is as authentic as you've ever seen. Not at all the same ol same chain Americanized garbage. The food is so very fresh, with so much deep flavor. The restaurant is always so very fresh and clean. The service has always been very attentive n informative. And the prices are so very fair. And the portions are so very plentiful. The wife and I got an appetizer 2 cokes and 4 entree's to go. Plus I left a 20% tip, cause I'm not a douche bag. And we only spent $69. Plus they have a rewards system that every $10 you spend you get $1 back. I've already got enough to sneak in a lunch n not...

We have been going to the Cookeville location for a few years. Before the name change. This was our first time stopping in the Sparta location. Really good food. My son loved it. Prices are fair. I will say the two things that made me not give the full 5 stars. There was only 6 pieces of tofu in the curry. There’s not really anything else in it besides 1 pepper piece and a couple bamboo shoots. So I left feeling pretty hungry after. My wife got the cashew nut and hers had a ton of tofu in it. Also ordered a level 4 spice and it was pretty mild. Had to dump a ton of the chili oil in it. The other location has you sweating at a level 4.

My biggest reason for not giving the other star was that they didn’t have the fried tofu appetizer. That’s one of the best things that was on the other menu.

Overall though, a good experience and I would come back.

What a pleasant surprise! We visit this area often and have not been to this restaurant before. We were hungry for lunch and this place just hit the spot! They were busy, but we were able to get a seat right away. The prices seemed almost too good to be true but as my husband said, the prices fit the portion size and the flavors of everything were amazing! I ordered the Yangneom chicken (spice level 3) and it was delicious! The flavor was so good and if you love spice 3 was perfect! My husband got the Pad See EW (spice level 3) with pork and it too was so flavorful! For a price point of $24 for the two of us it was perfect!
