My husband and I came here today for a birthday gift card for his coworker and some new toys for our cat! Everyone was so welcoming and helpful! There were two team members in particular that helped exponentially. I didnāt get the name of the woman that helped me but Iāll update as soon as I do! She was so kind and answered my many questions about a very sweet green concord that I was getting to know and am considering adopting (hopefully my husband lets me! š). Jesse checked us out at the registers - we tried our card and my Apple Pay to pay nearly a dozen times before I suggested we suspend the transaction to figure out what was happening so that the other customers could go ahead (they were very busy!). We thought we had it figured out and the kind lady I mentioned before had opened up another register to help get the line down. We tried again a few more times but it still wouldnāt go through, so we suspended again, only for the problem to persist the next time we tried after trying to get ahold of the chime customer service with no luck. We hoped if we tried swiping it would go through since sometimes our card has an issue with its chip. Eventually while we were trying again to get ahold of the cards customer service line Jesse suggested that it may have to do with not being able to purchase gift cards with certain cards and that maybe if we tried the $20 in cash for the gift card (we only had a little over $20 on us so that was lucky!) and the toys on our card/ApplyPay it would work. He was right!!! The helpfulness and initiative to pipe up with a possible solution was awesome in-and-of-itself, but what I appreciated the most of all is that throughout this entire process I never once felt like either of them thought less of us or that they secretly suspected we were criminals on the down low! š This situation is everyoneās worst nightmare and they made it so much less embarrassing and stressful. Thank you to PetCo for having such great people on your team and a special thank you to the two amazing people that helped...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been coming to this location since 2018 and I canāt say one time which I have had a great visit. Most lines are short , but the staff seem as if the lines are wrapped around the building. In Jan a cashier asked me if I wanted to save money on my cat litter purchase ,which I did. She said it was the rewards program which I am already a part of. So I thought. She had to āregisterā me on another computer and then people behind me became impatient and she became very nervous. Then I was nervous I didnāt see why I needed to wait in line to get my points as I always do. Just type my #and bam. So for the past 5 months I was charged unknowingly with my debit card I had made my purchase w thag day for some vital care? outraged at these charges I immediately reported my card stolen/lost. I got a new card same number doff date / cvc didnāt think I needed to worry long and behold I keep getting charged now with Apple Pay. You canāt cancel it bc itās a contract. Not only that they give you 15 credit monthly yet I never knew I was being charged so lost those coupons to help recoup money lost. 25 is a week of cat food for my 3 cats. Forget customer service, they canāt understand you and you can not understand them. Iāve tried calling back to several agents. 200.00 down the drain plus the rest of this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFor a pet store, this place is good. The store is very large, and therefore there's a large selection. I think most items are overpriced, but I understand they need to be profitable to stay in business. I don't like the fact that they sell Guinea Pigs because 90% of Guinea Pigs are not going to go to a good home. How do I know? Because we too made the mistake of thinking it would be a cute little pet to have, but when researching how to best take care of them, we learned a hard and expensive lesson. They require to be in two's; they get depressed if living alone. They need a very large cage, must larger than a typical pet store cage. And they need fresh greens, fresh hay, fresh pellet food, and other fruits/veggies on a DAILY basis! It's expensive. And cleaning their cage is a MAJOR chore and needs to be done frequently. 90% of people are not going to do that, and a pet store knows this. They shouldn't increase the problem by putting more Guinea Pigs into the population. And if so, they should require people know what they're getting into before purchasing. We got ours from the Humane Society as a rescue. I'd give anything to go back in time and undo this mistake. They will either wear you out keeping up with their needs, or you'll...
