El Capitan Marisquería — Restaurant in Spartanburg

I could rave about this place for an hour. The wait staff were absolutely fabulous and at the end of the dinner they surprised my daughter with a dessert with a firecracker on top. The food is the absolutely die for. I mean it you will eat yourself to death it is so good. The cheese dip is slap your grandma good. The seafood is fresher than anything that I've ever had at the beach. OMG it was so good. And beware those big trays are humongous. We ordered oyster hors d'oeuvres and they were so fresh, my husband ate most of them by himself. My daughter ordered octopus for the first time. When it arrived it was so pretty and looks so delicious. She absolutely enjoyed eating it we about made ourselves sick we ate so much and still had tons to take home. Even the bread what's perfect we just a tiny bit of smoke to it. We will literally be speaking of this meal for decades because it was so very very good. Almost forgot very important point...

Not gonn lie the food is actually good . It’s a clean restaurant the music just a lil bit loud but it doesn’t matter but the service is really bad they never give me refills unless I ask for them she barely check on us. Top on that she puts the percentage when it’s only 2-3 ppl when she don’t even deserve 20$ herself when she didn’t do anything but take the plates off when we almost leaving they only come when you’re about to finish. The presentation of the food is amazing.Food hardly has flavor.The music was loud .Then the tv's where very loud.I ask the young girl that works there and she totally ignored us.I asked what flavors of sodas they had and she spoke so soft then I asked her to repeat herself she come with "I said" very rudely.Then my husband asked for Heineken beer and she said we don't have that beer.So he got up and went to the bar and surprise they did have them.She just didn't want to help!
