I would at this point give them a zero. The food isn't bad if you can actually get the right food. I ordered on Doordash and I got the wrong food. Luckily for door dash, I got a refund for the terrible mistake. So, I thought I learned a lesson, so I called in an order. My husband picked up order, brought it home (25 minutes away on his way home) and got here and the whole order was wrong. Not one item. All of it. I ordered steak and jumbo shrimp hibachi and 2 orders of gyoza. Instead I got a steak bowl and the nasty looking spider roll ever and artificial crab with cream cheese roll. If I wanted sushi I would not order it from a "gas station" quality sushi place. I wouldn't be so upset but I called to see if they could credit my order and the girl said no. You have to drive it back. They know I got the wrong order because my order is there and yet they want me to drive 25 minutes there and 25 minutes back to get the right order. I didn't make the mistake. Well, I guess I did because I ordered from there and my husband did not know to check their integrity. I asked if I could talk to a manager or owner or boss and they said no, no one was there. Refused to correct my order. Refused to credit my order. Refused to do anything. I'm out 35$ with no edible food and they did nothing. I asked for someone to call me but I doubt they will. It's sad when someone cannot admit to making a mistake and actually fixing the mistake. The people that work there must hate their lives and hate working around other people. Awful customer service. Awful ability to just read the right order off a ticket. Inability to help a customer. No management available to help when needed. Avoid this place like a plague if you actually want what you order. And seriously scariest sushi I've ever seen. ...

My experience today was horrible. I've eaten here on 2 other separate occasions and haven't had a problem. Well, today I went with a coworker during lunch. We come in and the cashier looks at us. I look at her and then she says "how can I help you?" I said "hi, how are you?" She doesn't respond and she just stares. My coworker and I began looking at the menu and I told the lady in line behind us that she could go first. Another cashier helps that lady. So my coworker ordered and our cashier over charges my coworker. Then I ordered a meal that was $9.99 and I asked for a cup of water. She tells me my total is $11.11. I asked if the water costs and she said yes, so I said take it off my order. Then she removed the water and said my total was $10.79 instead. So I asked "how much is the water? And how much is the tax?" She says the water is $.32 and I don't know how much the tax is. I said well, I'll get the water...I thought you were charging me $1 for it. So I pull out my coin purse to pay for the water and I asked how much they charged in tax. She said "I don't make the taxes, are you still getting a water? I said "well you work here so you should know how much your taxes are!" She took my money and dropped my change on the counter and said to the next person in line "hi, what can I get for you?" I said "can I have my cup?!" And she gave me a cup and kept helping the other lady. She was extremely rude! To top it off, one of the cooks came from the back and stared me down while taking out the trash....that made me feel like he poisoned my food or something. I will never eat her or recommend this restaurant. I am disgusted with the service and...

I typically eat at the location that is on Highway 9 in Boiling Springs. I was on the east side of town today and stopped at the one off of Main Street, and it was okay but not the greatest. I think the portions have gotten smaller. I got steak teriyaki, and found the steak to be very tough and more like flank steak or carne asada steak. Not what I'm used to getting at Japan house. I also got a sushi roll, spicy tuna, and did not even eat it after the first bite. The sushi was warm, and the tuna was not even cold. They say they make the sushi fresh, but it seemed like it was something they have been sitting out for a while. Needless to say the sushi went in the trash. Overall I give it a 3 out of 5. I would go back to the location and Boiling Springs but...
