I have to go to Walgreens for my prescriptions because of my insurance. This place was downsized to a postage stamp! They are always short staffed. Half the time they have to order my medicine from another store. I drive 20 miles to get there and either they are closed without notice due to short staff or the drive up window is closed! We drove up at 5:20 to pick up a prescription that that they said was ready via email and they said they couldn't fill it because they were close at 6pm! We were the only customers there. Why couldn't they fill a prescription in 40 minutes? We complained and were told they counting the registers! I had driven 20 miles just for this prescription! The pharmacy tech was very rude! Fairly run down, but decent selection of businesses.

Most of the shops along the upper end have some really good products. Wades, near the lower end, is a Spartanburg staple that people rave about. Plenty of good stuff here, and it's a great location to pick up necessities for when loved ones are admitted to Spartanburg Regional hospital across the street.

The actual grounds of Pinewood Shopping Center have generally fallen into disrepair. The roads and parking lot are old and cracked, many of the buildings are ancient, and the lines are terribly faded. It probably wouldn't be hard to refresh the entire shopping center, but that would require money that the businesses aren't...
