Dropped off my wife's ring and band for a simple solder job. When I came to pick it up they had knocked a diamond loose. I was told it had to go back in for repairs. All fine. Kept getting told I would be called and was never once reached out to by them. When the ring was finally "done". There is more damage to the ring then the simple $50 job it was dropped off for. The gem that was knocked out was also totally LOST!!! They replaced it was a stone that doesn't match at all. Then the end solution for them mounting the new stone was to dent the rings side. Not taking the time to smooth it out. On top of all of this when I entered the store I was met by a man who asked me why I was there. Then escorted me to the counter and asked the other employee if they knew me or why I would be there because I quote "all I can tell is he has shady eyes." After having the ring inspected at a separate jeweler we are looking at more in repairs then the job they did was worth. Hands down the worst expirience I've ever had at a jewelery store. AFTER GOING TO A DIFFERENT STORE. I was quoted over $300 to fix the subpar work done by Nelson's. Was told the solder job they did would probably fail. What a disappointed all the way around. all said and done I'll have over $400 into a $50 job because I brought it here first. Think twice before bringing then anything that means...
Read moreI love the team at Nelson’s Jewelry! My sister and I lost our Mom a few years ago and they assisted us with sorting her jewelry and they were ready to assist us if we wanted to sell her prices, but we just weren’t ready. They were gracious, understanding and so kind during a difficult time. My sister and I shopped there this weekend and it was so fun! Jewelry was a big part of our Mom’s life and it was fun to find a couple pieces together. Amanda at Nelson’s helped find some beautiful jewelry and make a new memory! My son was with us and even he had fun lounging on the sofa watching Mickey Mouse. A family business that runs like a family is hard to find! ❤️ Most of all Amanda made our shopping experience so fun! @Tom- Amanda really should come to JCK....
Read moreWish I had not taken my ring here to be fixed! They quoted me $150 when I brought it in, then the jeweler said it would be $375. They did come back down on the price after I said I would not pay that much for 1 missing diamond chip and prong and would come to pick up my ring. It ended up being over $200 and the diamond chip they placed was much smaller than the other 5 and the ring is off center now. I also noticed a blemish (looks like a crack) on the primary large diamond that was not there before. When I took it back into the store, they said it was just a natural blemish in the stone (although it was not there prior to my bringing the ring in!) I don't even wear the ring because I am so disappointed in how it looks now. Very...
