The course is great for what you pay for, although they raised their price recently and removed a hole so it’s only 8 holes. Staff is the only reason i will not give this place 5 stars. Majority staff that work here are great, one gentleman (if you can call him that) not so much. He has a flat top/high fade on the side haircut and looks like his name is steve. Everytime ive came in while this guy is working he has been rude as all hell. He answers my questions like im dumb and always gives me attitude. He also just mean mugs you while you shop so you feel like you cant shop. Today i had paid for 18 holes (16) and a walking cart. I was playing by 4:15pm. By 4:50 I was just finishing my first 9 holes and the employee comes out and tells me that i need to hurry up so he can close the shop by 5:30 and put my bag boy that i paid for in. This pissed me off so i decided to just turn in the cart after the first 9 and carry my heavy ass staff bag the other 9. I finished my second 9 holes at 5:40 and surprise surprise the shop was still up and functioning. So i didnt get my cart that i paid for, for half of my game. If it wasnt for this one employee this place would be 5 stars all day long but since its not just a one time thing its been everytime with this guy, he...
Read moreUPDATE: 7/23/2020 The owners have removed #2 completely, cut #3 in half, and taken 15 yards off #7 and removed a tree making it a much less challenging shot. Why? So they could build a mini storage site. This used to be more than just a pitch and putt. Numbers 2 & 3 were tricky at times. This was a course where a serious golfer could work on their approach shot and practice using all of their wedges. Now it is truly a 58 or 60 degree wedge and a putter for most who play the game regukar. So disappointed.
Previous Review: We love this course and range. Hitting a bucket and playing a round is a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon. The pace is relaxed and the staff are very helpful and friendly. My only gripe is with those golfers who are oblivious about repairing ball marks on the greens or divots in the fairways. Even on full courses, the erosion of golf etiquette and courtesy is pervasive, but that's somewhat to be expected when so many golfers on the course are beginners or not diehards. Pine Acres is still a great bang for the buck and the pro shop may have one of the best assortments of shoes and bags...
Read moreI typically enjoy this range/course. As of recently though the mats on the range and the course are unplayable. Most the mats on the range don’t have tees and when you hit they are so worn it sounds and feels like your hitting off of plastic. The mats on the course are the same mats from the past few years and you can definitely tell. They are all completely mud logged, dirty and almost impossible to hit off of. After each hit from the tee boxes you’ll bring up a mound of mud on your clubs. The course looks absolutely stunning this year, they redid the greens which look and roll beautifully. The course itself it’s extremely water logged. If you don’t make the green off the tee boxes you’ll have a guaranteed mud ball for your next hit, that just comes out dead. Staff is great besides one or two old guys that are extremely rude, the female employee is...
