They don't seem to care about disabled customers.
Horrible seats. They don't recline at all. You must crane your neck up the whole movie.
Had some loud mouths behind me. Went to have the staff handle it. They took over 5 minutes to have someone come and tell them to be quiet. Then the noisy people just kept yapping anyways. How many times am I supposed to get up and get the staff to do something? How much of the movie am I supposed to miss?
The floor around the disabled seating has no floor lights. It is pitch black. Everyone was standing around right in front of the disabled people because they could not see which way to go. Ruining the start of the movie for the disabled people.
A person stepped on my shoe due to the lack of floor lighting when the movie was over.
When I called the box office later to speak to a manager they did not answer the Phone. I tried a few more times and every time no answer. If a disabled person needs to ask about the theater accommodations are they supposed to just drive on down in person and see whatever is there? It would probably be better if they could just call and get someone on the phone. Ignoring phone calls is the same as ignoring an in person customer asking for assistance. And if you are disabled person trying to call then they are ignoring a disabled customer.
I was forced to leave a message on their answering machine and the manager couldn't bother calling me back in a timely manner.
The movie looked terrible due to the projector flickering and choppiness. The pixels shift from dark to light colors too slow. It's basically like what you would expect from the cheap second run theatres that have lower price tickets, but they are charging you full price like the theaters with good projectors.
Unless management can fix these problems then there is no reason to go here. I can get a reclining seat, better projector, and more respect at any other theater for the same...
ย ย ย Read moreI took my son (5 years old) to see a movie. He left his new hat in his seat by accent. When we got home he realized this, I immediately called in hopes that a staff member could go into the theater room, we were just in, to see if his hat was there. They said they would, and would me back asap. However, about an hour later I still had not heard anything. I called again and asked if I could personally drive back down there and look my self. I was told that the theater room we where in was empty of people and I could go in. After loading back up my 2 kids, driving back down there, and going back into the theater....I was told that the room I was in was currently playing a show and I would have to come back to look for my son's hat at a later time. I then spoke with the manager who did nothing to resolve the issue. I told him that we sat on the very end of the aisle and if the hat was there it would be easy to spot. He did nothing to help me. As a regular movie customer at this movie theater I felt frustrated and will not be returning! My family and I come here often but apparently once we leave the movie we are no longer a "valued" customer and can't get straight answers or any kind of assistance. We will...
ย ย ย Read moreI can take the absurd pricing of soda and popcorn as typical of all theaters. The pricing of the tickets at VCC are typical-to-good so no real knock there. Where this theater fails, though, is both online ticketing and cleanliness. Both times I have been to VCC, the theaters themselves were filthy. I guess that level of detritus is expected in a place like the south side of Chicago. But the far north side of Spokane? And the movie we were seeing most recently was maybe 10% full. It appeared that only a passing glance was given to cleaning between showings. Additionally, the online service seems to be disconnected from the theater itself. Buy tickets online (like I did) via Fandango (the only service around, it seems) and you'll be told that your tickets will be emailed to you... But they won't be. So then you get to the theater and have to wait in line to show them a confirmation number. If I wanted to wait in line for tickets, sparky, I'd just buy the tickets when I got there. If you're buying online thinking it'll save you some time on a tight schedule - think again. It'll save...
