Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Washington

Horrible experience!! I specifically ordered a 16 Oz latte. We had ordered 3 drinks. They handed my husband the two cold and lastly a 12 Oz. hot drink. My husband pulled forward before I could rectify it. I IMMEDIATELY went into the store and asked them to give me a 16 Oz, like I ordered. She took my drink and said she was going to get me one. Another couple came and spent a significant time on their order after mine. The whole time, I was thinking they were making my drink. Finally, she yells, "Could you guys get that going? She's waiting." They hadn't even started making it! I waited and then finally said,"I have to go. I am in such a hurry." She said,"I understand, but we're slammed." To which I responded, "I get it but my ENTIRE car heard me say that I wanted a 16 Oz hot latte...I have to go, can I just have my small drink back?"

"That is no longer available for you." I had to go. So, I left without the coffee that we had already paid for. Horrible, horrible service at the Wandemere branch. And they took my money and did NOT fill my order. I am livid. My drink should have gone to the front of the order line, not the back. We had already waited in a line...

I go in to order since the drive thru is very tight and if you get stuck and wanna change your mind because the line is long, too bad! Lol. Well I went in two days ago in the a.m. around 915. No one was at the front so I rang the bell. No answer. Waited a minute and rang again. No answer but a girl on her break (she came out the back door and sat down) turned and looked at me. I smiled but had no intention of interrupting her break. I could hear several employees at the drive thru helping those customers and watching the cars move quickly through. I rang the bell a third time. Still nothing. Is the bell too quiet for them to hear? Either way, I just shrugged and left since now even if they came to the window, I didn't have enough time to order, wait to get my drink, and get to work up the road. This kind of ruined my perception of this location.

Update 6/18/25: took my kids back here as it was on the way and I totally believe in people having off days. Came to a little over 20 dollars for 3 drinks....or I should say 2 drinks and a...

Come for the coffee or the wifi, or both.

Friendly staff all feel like individuals with a lot of character, less formality than what you may expect in other big companies but staff almost always have a smile.

Coffee is done well and consistently, out of 20 coffees I've ordered only one felt off somehow to me.

For the purposes of dining in or bringing friends, the atmosphere of the lobby is a stark contrast, being a lot more formal. Seating is comfortable though some choices with table height are a bit awkward for the chairs. Lobby lights on the bright side, about the level of a...
