For over 8 years, I've been a loyal client, indulging in massages on a weekly basis. The essence of a stellar massage, in my opinion, involves a delicate balance—deep tissue work without the discomfort, a reliable process that fosters predictability, and a keen attentiveness to individual needs.
The deep tissue massages not only provide relaxation but also trigger the production of anti-inflammatory chemicals in the body. Amy, Yogi, and Lucy are masters at their craft, expertly utilizing the heels of their palms and elbows to deliver just the right amount of pressure. What sets them apart is their thoughtful approach—starting with lighter pressure and gradually increasing it, allowing the body to 'warm up' for a more profound massage experience. Amy's foot massage, particularly her unique touch, is unparalleled in its depth and relaxation. Having experienced various Chinese and American foot massages, I can confidently say that Amy's technique is exceptional.
One aspect that stands out is their consistent process. Each session is marked by the same strokes and durations, ensuring a reliably great outcome every time. What truly sets Amy and Yogi apart is their exceptional listening skills. Being an active individual, I often present specific concerns like a tight t-band or hamstring aches. They consistently adapt their approach, allocating the necessary time to address my unique needs.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend their services. The combination of skilled technique, a well-defined process, and a genuine commitment to individual requirements makes this place truly...
Read morePossibly the worst "massage" I've ever had. My husband & I went for a 90-minute couple's massage, which we do quite frequently. We're new to the area so thought we'd give this place a try. We booked this one rather last minute but Amy assured me they had the staff to accommodate. I genuinely don't think they shorter, heavier woman that was my masseuse was a LMT. She never asked how the pressure was & moved so abruptly & jerky like she was in a rush, it was HARDLY relaxing. The woman seemed more like housekeeping than a massage therapist. She had no clue as to what she was doing & why, did not hit any of my major muscles, OR do my feet or hands. It was an awful & EXPENSIVE ninety minutes. My husband recommends Amy, so I'm glad he enjoyed his massage, but mine was miserable. I tried asking her to slow down as well as use her thumbs because it was 98% forearm & elbow. PLUS they didn't warn us there was a fee for using card (credit OR debit). We pulled out cash to tip them but would have gladly withdrawn more, had we known, in order to avoid the fee, which really just added insult to injury. I tried talking to Amy afterward, when we were paying, & she just acted like she didn't understand my English, so here's a Google review, maybe she can...
Read moreIf you want a place you can go to get rid of your stress and tension this is a home away from home. The Massage Therapists are very friendly. The strength on these women's hands is incredible. I like to work out and this is perfect for deep tissue massage and therapy healing. All the employees are busy with clients so sometimes the phone has to be answered but it only takes like 20 seconds. It's not a big deal and normally an extra 5 or 10 minutes will be added to my time without me even asking or saying anything. Ask for the Hotstones while you are here. It is a wonderful luxury as well as the cupping sessions. Yuki, Amy and Lucy are all 3 Amazing with healing hands. There is a tip sign to go off of if you aren't familiar with the tipping system in America. It's the same as a waitress or delivery driver. That's fully expected. If you are second guessing yourself just give it a try. If you are thinking of going to a doctor or chiropractor then try this first. Just getting a recreational massage can change your entire mood for the week. My back problems have almost completely disappeared since I started treating my body right with licensed professionals. A+ Business and will be recommending...
