Southwind Plaza — Local services in Spring Lake

This plaza is really run down. The Big Lots closed down due to the owner of the building not wanting to keep his rentals maintained. Very sad state to what was once a busy plaza with a Wal Mart, shops filled up and a very thriving place to shop. I do love the Thrift store, Kahn's Fashions and the CVS store. The rest I don't utilize at all. They have a overpriced not so good donut shop in there along with a overpriced grocery store Compare Foods in a area where people can't afford to shop there. Okay my rant is over....

I enjoy Soutywind Plaza. As a crafty person, this was the first craft store I visited when I relocated to NC from NY. It was like saying goodbye to an old friend because I was visiting AC Moore's clearence. I dont understand why they are closing after all these years. When I couldnt find it anywhere else I could always depend on AC Moore. I guess this a sign...

The Parking lot reminds me of a battlefield with Craters all around it especially driveway near Pizza hut.
