When I was in a time crunch and needed a light source for a video production shoot, Photo Rental Source came to my rescue. It is a bit difficult to find the place as it's on the 3rd floor of an office building. There is visitor parking, but if it's full, there is also a parking garage. Upon entering, you will find iPads and Computers around where you can go to their website and see what equipment they have available. So, technically, you could do this at home or on your phone before even coming in, which is a timesaver.

Luckily, they had a light that I needed, and I paid around $40 for a week's use. It was quick, easy, and the service was friendly. They have all sorts of equipment including cameras and lenses as well. If I ever need equipment for a gig and not looking to own it, Photo Rental Source will be my go-to place from now on. Great products, terrible service. I've met algae with more brain cells than Mark.

Due to being robbed, I was going to rent a camera and a lens, as I'm in between devices. I didn't see the fine print about the deposit--my bad on my end. I will say though, you shouldn't even allow transactions to go through without requiring the deposit to be paid.

So, long story short, I requested a refund. Mark told me it would only take one business day for my refund to go through. This was Monday, and it is now Wednesday.

The suuuuper nice /sarcasm/ gentleman that I talked to on the phone a few minutes ago told me that it would actually take 2-3 business days for my refund to go through. He also informed me that if I wanted the money quicker, I would have to go through my bank.

I'm not sure who I talked to, but he was apathetic at best.
