This has been one of the schools I have considered to start my journey as an esthetician. But it has been difficult to even gather information about the courses. Rochelle is the only person in charge of making an appointment with you to give you information about the courses and offer you the tour inside the school. But it is literally impossible to contact her by phone or email, because she never answers back. During the tour she tells you that you can be in touch with her for any further questions, but forget it, she will never be there for you. She won't even have time to help you fill out the application for the student loan, since they don't do that in this place. Basically, if you enroll in this school, you are on your own.
At this school you will be paying an average of 20 thousand dollars to complete a course. Sadly, the FAFSA doesn't cover the entire tuition. It only covers a portion, and that's barely more than half. Despite this, the school wants the full amount before enrolling you. Despite this, you won't find much support or interest from them in getting you to enroll. I assume they're in high demand, so they don't need more students. Furthermore, I didn't like the snobbish atmosphere, the strict rules, the demands and responsibilities expected from students... I didn't like anything they explained during the tour.
Believe me, there are other schools out there that offer the option to pay much later or even make a monthly payment plan. There's no need to waste so much money up front. If there is one thing in abundance, it is beauty schools in Las Vegas to choose from.
I'm currently enrolled and progressing through the same program at another school. And I think I made the right choice. At least where I am now, I don't have to do chores and feel like I'm being exploited like a slave. Another reason why I didn't enroll at Nima. There, they try to squeeze the students and use them as if they were employees, even though they're the ones paying. Fortunately, not all schools treat...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI spent a while researching the best place to go for treatment under the eyes that remained true to my natural appearance, Nima consistently popped up in my search results.
I set up an appointment for a consultation. The spa is absolutely beautiful and very clean. Everyone is so kind from the receptionists who greets you to everyone along the way. I was able to speak with my injector Kaydee directly prior to my actual appointment. She was extremely thorough and answered all my questions while giving me several options to achieve my desired results as well as her professional advice. There was absolutely no pressure to book the day of my consultation and I didnāt feel like I was being rushed to make any decisions.
Aimee, who handles the financials was completely transparent and explained in depth the cost differences between the membership tiers and the benefits before I even scheduled an appointment. Again, there was no pressure.
The day of my appointment was seamless. Kaydee was kind and very gentle. She explained the entire process before starting, during the process and aftercare. She also explained what to expect. Sheās literally a magician. I didnāt know what exactly to expect because this was my first time getting any sort of fillers but I was pleasantly shocked by my results. I wish Iād found her sooner.
My experience was top tier. If youāre looking for a medspa that treats you well and looks out for your best interests, join NIMA. Their quality of work...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been coming to the Spa for a couple years for facial treatments and overall enjoyed my experiences until today. Because of an unexpected road closure, I called ahead and asked if my appointment could be pushed later and they said yes, it was changed to 20min later than my original time. Started right on (the new) time after confirming the time change with the student. The student was friendly and professional. She then told me suddenly that the session was over; I looked at the clock and it had only been 35min. Front desk confirmed it should have been an hour and that it was the studentās mistake. I have no issue with the student; this is an educational environment and mistakes are not uncommon in my experiences here. The receptionist asked if this was my first time. I said no, Iāve come here many times. She said, āOh, well if it had been your first time I could have given you 20% off, but since not youāll have to pay the full price.ā I was a little stunned because full price implies full amount of time for the service, and also I felt slighted since I have been coming here for a couple years. The school should have taken the loss, not the client. Iāve recommended Nima to others and Iām hesitant to do so again or even return at...
