Art Classes by Bash and Design Gallery — Attraction in Spring Valley

I am so grateful I found Bash & Design a little over a year ago. I was looking online for a local studio class in either drawing or painting just to pick up a hobby I had really enjoyed and had left behind a long time ago. I found Bash & Design and decided to give it a try, signing up for an evening painting class.

I could not have asked for a better opportunity to enjoy painting again. The instructors and staff there are so welcoming and supportive, not to mention very talented. The space is bright and cheerful, the atmosphere is relaxed and joyful, and I feel a sense of connection and community there.

I was able to start painting right where I was at, without feeling any pressure to be “good at painting.” My instructor had a way of providing ideas and inspiration that challenged me to try new subjects and approaches outside my comfort zone. Her guidance was very helpful, with encouraging feedback and super useful tips. I got to surprise myself (and my family!) with the results, proving that anyone can paint given the right environment and support. Bash & Design is the place.

One last note: I love the range of choices for classes, and I really appreciate how flexible they are with options for class schedules and payments. They really extend themselves to accommodate all age groups and scheduling preferences (from dedicated artists who want a regular, intensive studio practice to people who just want to drop in, to couples and families wanting to enjoy their special events).

We have been thrilled with our experiences at Bash! Kat hires fantastic instructors- and there’s no turnover so the instructors really get to know each student artistically/personality wise and are able to invest in their art development. My kids have learned so much and I really appreciate how patient, kind, and accommodating the team has been with our children. One has some fine motor skill challenges and another has vision impairment and you would NEVER know it based on the beautiful art they are creating! Our oldest son has created some beautiful pieces that we have displayed in our home and guests cannot believe our 9 year old painted them. I also appreciate that Kat offers a series of art classes just for homeschoolers. My kids would be at the art studio all day, everyday if I let them!
