The service is exceptional. The wonderful people up front are very welcoming and helpful. I've given this place my business on more than one occasion and I've always been satisfied with their products. However, I will not be returning after the service I got from the "jeweler". I brought my Movado watch in for a simple battery change since the watch was special to me and I liked the way they treated me there. I left it over the weekend because they told me their "jeweler" wouldn't be in until Monday. when I went to pick up the watch, I noticed there were particles of dust on the dial. This was strange because the watch had never been opened and I assume the dial doesn't need to come off for a battery replacement. not only that but the caseback was all scratched up from being opened with improper tools. The caseback itself is also dented in from the middle where the "jeweler" pushed it close improperly. I asked the polite woman attending me to take it back to the jeweler to see if he could clean up the dial. when she returned a few minutes later she informed me that the jeweler denied taking out the dial and that he wouldn't do it to clean up the particles. She also informed me that I wasn't being charged for service because the watch still wasn't working even after the battery replacement. If I had not not taken a close look at my watch, I would've been charged for a non functional watch in worse condition than when I dropped it off. I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with this jewelry store. Last June, I took my engagement ring to be resized. While they were quick with the job, I immediately noticed two of the small diamonds had been removed and replaced. When I brought it up, they insisted they had put the “same” ones back, but it was obvious they were not. The replacements were a different shade. They brushed it off, saying the stones were just “dirty” and needed polishing.

On top of that, they made the back of my ring extremely thin, to the point that any bend could cause it to break. When we tried to talk directly to the jeweler, he refused to come out and instead sent someone else to speak with us. That person promised us a full refund if the back was not fixed properly, but when the repair came back poorly done again, they backtracked on their word. Instead, they only offered to “fix it again,” which at that point was unacceptable.

Now, one of those poorly replaced diamonds has already fallen out, proving their work is not only untrustworthy but also careless. I strongly feel that they did not use the original stones from my ring.

We took a watch to get the battery changed. First they said it would be ready Friday and we stated we would be leaving on vacation so asked if it could be done earlier. She stated that it could be done same day without skipping a beat. My partner stopped back by just before close and they said it wasn’t ready because the jeweler left early. We waited until noon today and she said it wasn’t ready but would call us when it was ready. We hung up and immediately got a text that it was ready. We went to pick it up, and while the battery was changed, there were scratches all over the back, a scratch on the side, and the plate was put back on unaligned.
