A pleasant surprise in East York!

Shelves stocked with an array of middle eastern basics, including certified halal items. Many spices and treats to choose from, and a nice selection of frozen dishes. The variety of drinks, snacks and candy is good, but not overwhelming for the size of the establishment. Some fresh meat and produce was offered and all prices seemed far, as far as I could tell. I am aware that specialty shops like this are at a disadvantage due to reduced buying power, but the prices are definitely fair.

The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and professional.

I enjoy food from many cultures, so I typically will visit any "international" food shops I come across, so I do feel as though I can offer some relevant information. The location is somewhat hidden, at the end of a small plaza, behind an antique shop, but there is plenty of parking.

If you read this review, please check out the store, because small shops like this go out of business because they don't have the traffic they need to make a profit. Tell a friend so we can keep a local business in the community. I don't have a need for halal products, but there are a surprising number of families that do, so they would ultimately benefit from having a well...

I was there with my parents and daughter last Sunday .So grateful and exited to have this international grocery store in the area. I love the convenience of not having to travel to Baltimore or Harrisburg to get Russian, Arabic, or International food. They have a great variety of cheese, pasta, herbs, and more… definitely I am going back to them because my daughters love some cookies wishing we had more. I just make it baklava with their fillo...

I loved shopping there. I found everything I needed and if there was anything that they didn’t have, they were open to all suggestions and they said they will get them for me , they want to carry all the popular products among the Middle Eastern population in the Area, how lovely of them , they are nice and courteous, and the prices are unbeatable really low compared to the other Middle Eastern...
