NK nails — Local services in Springfield Township

Today I got my nails done here, and they where horrible! This guy was new, and did not know about doing designs, or nail extensions. What I had chosen was simple. Gel full set, Two lines like the letter X across my ring finger nails covered with clear glittery polish. No dots, no zigzags. no crazy 3-D, none of that crazy stuff. Just two lines on top of each other. Then I asked could you add silver glitter polish meaning, just overlap the nail with clear glitter nail polish. He kept messing up, then he says, he can't do it! He was rushing the entire time! I even told him at one time to slow down & take his time. They where not busy. At this point I'm like ok, just finish up so I can go. Before all of this, he couldn't even file a nail properly, and one nail he glued on crooked which you can clearly see it needed to be replaced. He went over it with a buffer block, threw it down, started talking to one of his staff members, then picked it up, and continued buffing as if it was going to change the entire look of the mistake he made. I even asked him at the end was he new, and fairly new at doing nails, and he mumbled stating that he was. I felt bad for him and gave him a small tip. Every time I go, I have a wonderful experience. The staff are always kind and friendly. The owner is a jewel, she is always helpful and attentive to customers. I love that almost everyone in the salon greets me by name and the owner thanks me when leaving; it makes you feel kind of special. It’s the little things that count! The salon now offers a collagen pedicure which I get often. I actually needed some type of moisturizing pedicure beyond the regular. The collagen pedicure with citrus fruit slices smells amazing and makes my feet soft. It has helped big time with calluses.I get gel polish on my toes and on my nails. The designs and colors are always pretty and in season. My nails are smooth are smooth and well taken care of. I can easily make an appointment; I haven’t had any complaints. My time at the nail salon is truly my “ me time.” no fancy statues, bars, fountains, and chandeliers here just really...

Unfortunately I have gone here twice. Each time the nail artist (different ones) were rude and acted if they were annoyed that they had to work. This was exhibited by rolling eyes, huffing and puffing, not talking to to clients. As soon as my nails were done she ran to a pedicure chair and started reading a magazine. The lady who worked on my friend grunted when she was told to do her nails. As soon as she was done she went to another open station and sat. She never told my friend when her nails were dry or ready. As soon as my friend left the building a nail was scratched. First time gel polished lasted 6 days. Second time nail polish was not applied correctly and most of my nail bed is showing. Also my fingers bled from such rough filing. I will not return to this establishment.
