China Wok — Restaurant in Springfield Township

Ordered in person dinner take out from China Wok on Winton Road in Finneytown in September 2021. China Wok is located next to Great Clips and Domino's. It's a very small Chinese place, wouldn't say one of the best as far as cleanliness, the checkout counter and overall presentation or the interior decor.

I ordered Chicken Fried Rice which was actually priced $9.70 which I felt was comparatively higher than two other chinese restaurants nearby. Found both of these restaurants selling much cheaper and very high quality food at that time. The China Wok Chicken fried rice tasted somewhat bland, lacking flavors and even enough salt added. The quality was mediocre.

The most disappointing personal experience was the young person who was managing the closed glass cash register, due to COVID protocols. The parents were engaged in either cooking or assisting in the kitchen and seemed to be nice people. The young person was very rude from the beginning, would not even properly answer my questions and was very impatient just to collect the bill. The person lacked any sense of courtesy, respect or expected normal customer service. I wouldn't be visiting China Wok yet...

I ordered online using the app. I ordered the chow mein and maybe I’m wrong but I assumed it came with noodles bc every other time I’ve ordered chow mein I’ve got it with noodles. Before the order, he called me to ask more specifics he asked me “do u want just vegetables, chicken, and sauce.” I said “yes with noodles too though right?” He hung up so I assumed he got it. I then got my food took it home and looked to see no noodles, which is quite aggravating but I thought it’s just a simple misunderstanding so I called again. I was then yelled at on the phone and I asked about the noodles but was then yelled at again saying “you didn’t order that! I called you and you said only vegetables, chicken, and sauce.” So overall my experience was pretty terrible, I can understand where there can be a misunderstanding but the customer should never be yelled at and...

The food was gross and greasy, I got the boneless ribs and rice lunch special ,and the rice tasted unseasoned. And the ribs tasted like they were drowned in the BBq sauce (filled with doggy nasty lookinglooking lettuce) the sauce almost spilled on me and burned me!!!

The wonton soup was good I sat in front of the restaurant for 15 minutes sipping and eating the soup and no one walked in the restaurant. And this was at the lunch time rush!!! This should have told me not to eat there go to "FORTUNE EXPRESS CHINESE RESTAURANT" ON COMPTON ROAD.Real food there fried eggs and real vegetables in their rice seasoned and truly good
