Updated Review: July 2025 - dining in this location was great! When we went they were very busy but the wait staff was very patient, accommodating and friendly. Food came out delicious and satisfying. It was quite loud inside but that was to be expected with the number of people and families dining during the dinner rush.
Original Review - going through drive thru Summer 2024 - Since it was getting late and this location is open a bit later, we decided to hit up their drive through. However, there were several issues when ordering and staff was very confused on the modifications for one order (a chilito with beans added). They finally seemed to understand, and there were a couple beans inside the chilito. The other item was a coney bowl....however there was NO CHEESE in the coney bowl (no side of cheese to be found either). Just luke warm hot dogs in Chili. I also requested mustard and onions but those were also missing. Side of French fries were soggy, overcooked and lukewarm. Luckily this wasn't my first time trying Skyline. We live out of state and it was unfortunate that it tastes better from a can...
Read moreWe started going to this Skyline on "Kids Eat Free" night YEARS ago just to give me a break from cooking dinner and to allow the family a little treat. Even during the pandemic, we'd order out once a week. We are still going even though our son has long since aged out of the free coney, and he is actually away to college! It is a wonderful break from the routine. I only mention all of this because the staff and management of this location has always been top notch! We have had a few different people wait on us over the years, but we have had no issues with any of them. We rarely change our order so our food is being dished out before we even sit down anymore! We are on first name basis with the management and staff which makes it even more enjoyable to stop in every week to catch up an the kids and vacations, etc. It is like "Cheers" but with spaghetti and...
Read moreWe usually go to the skyline on reading. We go through their drive through. At this location we were presented with the suggestion to tip. The reason we didn't go inside to eat is because I didn't have the money to tip. I'm a firm believer in not going out to eat if you can't take care of your server, as I am one myself. So when they handed me the slip to sign and tip on, I put down a dollar in the tip line, as it wasn't something I was expecting. Then when the lady closed the window she sarcastically said to the other workers "woooh we got a dollar." Just a heads up your customers can hear you even when the window is closed. It felt very entitled to expect a 20% tip on a drive...
