Denver Mattress — Local services in Springfield

So I have been to Denver Mattress only 2 times. The first time my husband and I went to try out some of the beds we were looking at online... but to also check out our options and cost. Louis greeted us as we were browsing and asked if we had any questions and like usual we gave the “oh we’re just browsing” but then we felt very comfortable to ask Louis questions. He wasn’t pushy at all and was EXTREMELY calm and helpful. He explained all the pricing questions we had, details about each mattress we had questions about, his recommendations, but also we did not feel pressured at all. Because of the great experience we had the first time (we had shopped over 6 mattress stores that day) we decided to return on the same day a week later back to Denver Mattress. We were greeted by someone else, but let them know we were already working with Louis last week and wanted to work with him again. Louis came back to greet us and worked with us again with more of our questions, and explained any offers they had going on, and let us take our time trying out all the beds again. Unfortunately our ultimate choice we made on a bed had a 6-8 week wait time and they did not have any in stock. We really needed our new mattress prior to the following weekend so Louis checked stock and was able to find one in our first choice from the last time we were there! The check out process was SUPER quick and we did not have to wait at all to get the mattress from the back. It was completely wrapped in plastic like Louis told us it would be, and the warehouse was able to provide us with something to tie the mattress down since we went with a size bigger than we had originally planned and decided not to get delivery since we wanted to bring it home on our own. Buying a bed from Denver Mattress was not only easy... it was the right choice. Thank you Louis for your help, knowledge, and advice - but also for pulling strings to get us the mattress we wanted! I went to try out the purple mattresses. You can read all of the online reviews that you want but I want to actually feel the mattress before buying one. Matt was super helpful and not pushy at all. He answered our questions and offered good advice. He gave us our space to discuss things but wasn't ever too far out of reach to answer any questions that we had. I'm glad that I went and laid down on the physical mattresses because I would have chosen differently if I was going off of internet reviews. I ended up getting the purple 3 instead of the standard purple mattress. I also got the power base. I never considered buying a power base but started playing with the remote and liked it immediately. Matt told me the power based were on sale for a few hundred dollars off so that sold me. 48 month 0% financing seemed like a good deal too. I was planning just to feel the mattresses and order online. They price match the purple stuff and had the model I wanted in stock. I'd still be waiting on a mattress to ship if I'd ordered online and I'd have gotten one that I didn't like as much. Think what you will about internet pricing, but sometimes a brick and mortar store is still the best. Thanks...

This is an update from my 1st review. Denver Mattress contacted me and replaced the mattress pad with a new one. ( The pad was replaced Dec.11th, that was almost a month ago. I checked yesterday to see if the pad was holding up and it was torn apart just like the first one I purchased. When I went to the store to exchange this I was told it possibly could have been the agitator on my washer. I can understand yes maybe that could have been an issue. So I've given it 3 weeks to a month and have not washed it and when I checked yesterday it was falling apart just like the first one. No !!! I do not want a replacement and I am not going to spend more money on a better one. I just want to let you know that the lining in that mattress pad is not good quality and whoever is the manufacturer of this product it needs brought to their attention. I live 40 minutes away and don't shop in Springfield very often , but when I need furniture , I like to shop Furniture Row and their adjoing stores. I have never been dissatisfied with anything I've purchased there , except this damn...
