Dirty lobby/dining area. Waitress came and took our drink order, and just stood there looking at us as my wife and I were talking about my Dr. appointment that we had just come from. We asked if we could help her, and she told us that she was waiting on us to order, and that she had other tables. My wife said okay, well for now we'll just take our drinks please. She came back about 5 minutes later (without our drinks) and asked if was ready to put our order in yet. I told her know, but I sure would like my coffee and water, and my wife would like to have her sweet tea please. When we got our food, it was not what we had expected. Our eggs were burned, the toast was more like hot bread, did not even look it had seen the toaster, and their was so much oil used for the potatoes that I drained it from my skillet breakfast. I showed the waitress and she took it back. The manager brought it back out and explained that it's not oil. It's churned butter straight from the farm🙄🙄🤣🤣🤣
We went ahead and left no tip, but we did pay the bill. The manager told us if we did not pay, he would call the police.
I told them they have lost our business forever. He told us he did not care, and asked me how many times do I think that he has heard that in his career.
I asked if he had ever heard of Google Reviews, he told me that's not new to him either 🙄.
So... I do not and never will recommend this...
Read moreFood was absolutely terrible. I ordered breakfast curbside for my family of. 3. I live 5 min down the road, my food was cold. My home fries were not cooked all the way. Pancakes tasted like were just re warmed in the microwave. The meat was cold. My child who eats literally everything took two bites and was done. It was a total waste of $40. Only good thing was the curbside lady came out instantly when I arrived.
UPDATED 2/1/24. Since I can’t make another review. So I was issued a gift card of $20 by Bob Evan’s. Decided to try them out again with my son. This time we eat inside, the server and host was great. The food was still disgusting and then it is time to pay. I provide the lovely host Gaven my gift card and he is unable to get it to work. Gaven tries a numerous amount of times before asking for help. The manager James who was outside ignored Gaven who had a line of customers waiting to check but was held up by me due to the card issued by Bob Evan’s didn’t work. James finally decides to help Gaven and couldn’t get it to work. So now I had to pay YET again for a disgusting meal. So now out of $62 dollars thanks to this lovely establishment. I do appreciate the wait staff Gaven, the lady who had the pink book and our server not sure of her name. I definitely will not return to a Bob...
Read moreThe hostess just went "booth or table?" with no greeting. The waitress responded to "how are you?" With "tired" before taking our drink order. Had to remind her we wanted cream because she walked off before we were done telling her. She was not attentive, but appeared to be the only waitress on duty at 6pm (tired was an apt response clearly)
She rudely scolded the busser "AMANDA answer the phone I'm doing 3 different things right now, THAT CAN WAIT answer the phone," I feel so bad for Amanda. I get being stressed but customers shouldn't have to overhear you berating your colleagues.
Food was decent. Silverware didn't have knives, so like everything we had to get up and walk over to the waitress to ask for it. It was clean.
I am upset the service was bad, but let's be honest- the company clearly is bending them over to take the consequences of management not controlling the working conditions. They are staffing them to the point where they can't bother pretending they're not tired and miserable which DUH makes customers feel awkward and dissatisfied. "nobody wants to work," pay them more than $4 an hour + tips and you'll see workers.
TLDR: poor service and rude staff, I blame...
