Ladies and gentlemen I would like to recommend that if you're looking for employment look elsewhere do not work at this establishment honestly this place should be shut down corporate needs to step in and take a look at the store from top to bottom. They had mold on the wall of the milk cooler. They do not treat employees well. They are very unprofessional, managers speak to other people about employees in front of customers and other employees and it's none of anybody's business but the specific employee and manager. Owner rarely responds to employee request or messages and unless you have open availability this definitely is not the place for you. The owner does not take doctors notes so if you miss time or have to go to the doctor or something he will not accept a doctor's note and if you had to go home early for some reason he would count all of that as a full missed day. Basically all missed days regardless of the reason or if it's a full day or not are counted as full unexcused absences and if you're pregnant he will tell you you're an inconvenience. You can definitely tell that there are favorites which is ridiculous because it's a job not middle School. Having limited availability is only okay for some people not everyone. Even at one point their door didn't automatically open and close so it just had to stay open all day during the winter so all of the cashiers had to stand up there and freeze while doing their job. As a customer I find it very unprofessional to go grocery shopping and hear two managers talking about another employee basically saying how they're using the schedule to get the person to quit. It's none of anybody's business. All the employees and customers could hear what was being said. If I was the manager I would have fired them for that. That's very unprofessional and uncalled for. They should have gone to a quieter area to discuss the situation about an employee. It's not just the employees being treated unfairly they are also not very good to customers. Yes there are a lot of people who go in that store and steal but not everybody steals and they really should be more mindful of who they accuse. And they definitely have no shame when they accuse people. I was in there one time and the lady was just yelling and going on about how she had never been to the store but the employee insisted she had been...
Read moreI personally had a terrible experience the only time I ever have with these people I've always had wonderful experiences but then I got accused of something I didn't do because I looked like someone I was aggressively approached humiliated kicked out of the store and told I was put on the Wall of shame but it wasn't me I had nothing in my car but a bottle of lotion that I didn't even make down one aisle before I got confronted by three employees being aggressive embarrassing me in front of everybody including the very important phone call I was on for my father who is extremely ill .I was floored and at a loss for words. I went across the street to call management to file a complaint.he seemed very distracted and just not present and spacey. He offered me no solution didn't ask my name or my phone number I had to force him to take my number down and all he had to say was he was trying to figure out what type of disciplinary action to take then I never got a phone call never heard back and I'm afraid to go into the store that I used to frequent all the time I apparently have a doppelganger running around town still and things because I also had been accused of stealing a bottle of liquor from a liquor store with a stroller and a small child but my child is 9 I don't have a stoler. That one had to go to court. These people had no evidence and they had no name to go with apparently the photo they had to go off of that's on their Wall of shame if someone is accusing someone of stealing I think they should at least asked for an ID like the picture that they should have an ID to go with as well unless they're just going to point fingers at any random person they're going to get...
Read moreAfter shopping here for a long time, I have become increasingly alarmed at the lack of consistent store policy when it comes to wearing a mask. Even though management has the right to refuse service to anyone, they seem to lack respect for the statewide mandate in effect intended to safeguard us all from this terrible disease. Last night, as has happened so many times over the past few months, I watched a woman shop the whole store without a mask. I complained to an employee. The grocery outlet response was to let her check out. Talking the whole time she spewed herself all over the checkout stand, the credit card machine, the groceries. She had no respect for social distancing. She had no concern for our safety. As far as I'm concerned, neither did the Grocery Outlet management team. They chose to support her boycott of our statewide safety measure, putting us all at risk at the only conveniently close grocery store in our neighborhood. If you read this and agree I ask you to take the time to raise the question with the owners, call in a complaint to the health department, file a complaint with the State Covid task force, and shop the River Rd. location for great deals that don't require you risk your life to shop for them. We won't...
