This is a top tier food truck for Mexican food. I went here with my son on Saturday and there wasn't much of a line. The service was prompt and courteous, and the food was extraordinary. I was delighted to see that there were a number of Hispanic folks eating here, which to me is a sign that the food is accepted by people who share the same cultural background, which in turn is usually a strong indication the food is on point. This was certainly the case here. I got the torta and it was one of the best I've had. The bread was both crisp and soft, it was fresh and aromatic; the jalapeños must have been sourced by the owners and prepared properly because they weren't just the typical sliced ones you normally get, they were flavorful and spicy and there was larger chunks of them; the authentic Oaxacan cheese was melted perfectly; the distribution of meat was generous and it was super flavorful. My son (2 years old) got a side of rice and beans, which he loved. The beans were whole, as opposed to refried, and they were flavorful, and the rice was fresh and hot and clearly not reheated. Over the years, El Trenecito has been my preferred Mexican food spot in Springfield, and they are widely regarded as some best Mexican food in town, but I think Taqueria Feugo Burrito is a top contender. The seating is limited: there are two large picnic benches in front and there isn't any shade, but that won't deter me from returning. I will certainly be back to try more...
Read morePlace on google says they open at 10am, I was there about that time and they didn’t open until I called and asked when they opened and told them I’ve been waiting almost 30 minutes for them to open after they had already supposed to be open, got a wet burrito and a fuego burrito and asked that they came with no chili and the guys said the wet burrito would have just a “little kick” to it, I get home to my girlfriend and within the first bite she said she couldn’t even eat it the thing was so spicy so I took a bite for myself and it turned out to be true, within a second my mouth is just throbbing in pain.. Poor service, was lied to, and didn’t get to eat the burrito we paid for because of the spice, they need to add different spice levels for peoples personal choice, cuz I can admit I do love spice but this was just un called for spice that felt like it could do more to you then just taste spicy. My co worker who got 3, one for each him and his two buddy’s. texts me saying this burrito is not eatable.. jus don’t feel right about eating there anymore so I...
