What a joke, I haven't been to a pawn store in 2 years and I walk in, this kid tells me to "wait over there" as I hold my stuff to sell. No hi, hello any kind of pleasantry. A minute later an older gentlemen says he will get someone from the back... As he heads to the back the kid proceeds to take out his phone and play on it in the middle of the store... 5-8 minutes later after nothing, and the kid still playing on his phone, I see the older gentlemen in the back behind a counter motioning to me someone is coming. I start to look around and actually find a pair of Beats by Dre that I was very interested in, another 5-8 minutes goes by and the kid still playing on his phone has not said one word to me as I look around 5 feet from him. I go back to the desk and finally a lady walks up says one minute and grabs the phone... After the call she said she wasnt interested in my stuff, so I left. Worst customer service ever, I need to put in for a job because if I checked my phone at my work, in front of a guest or not and I am gonna hear about it. There is apparently only one person that works, and they can't train the others to do anything but stand around playing on there phones!? I don't care that they didn't want to buy my stuff, but that was a quick one to five minute convo that turned into me spending 25 minutes waching the worlds laziest employees playing on there phones. Plus they lost a sale, had the lady even apologised for the wait I would have bought the headphones, this was the second and last time I...
Read moremy lens was stolen and pawned here. my 105mm f/1.4. I have all the information, ticket number, proof of purchase, serial number, willing to pay what was still owed on it even though I cant afford it right now. But without police being involved, they are completely unwilling to work with me. My anxiety is too bad to go to the police and I don't even know how to do that.
I worked so hard to ade my camera. I was starting to shoot weddings, I had done 7 so far. It was becoming my livelyhood. Now I only have 2 of my old lenses because my car was also broken into and even more stolen from me.
I havent shot anything in months, I feel like I'm failing, I know I won't be ever to afford a nice lens like that again.
I would give them 1 star, but I'm giving them 2 because I know its policy. I just wanted to voice this because it hurts so bad to know someone's going to buy my lens I worked so hard for and barely got to use from then
Edit:I have talked to you guys, I’m not sure why you’ve made it out to seem like I haven’t. You guys basically told me tough luck without a police report. The only reason for the two star review is I wish I had been allowed to just pay the remaining balance on the lens, even a little more if necessary, or met with a more...
Read moreAfter many years of shopping at Ace buyers on Main Street in Mohawk, I'd say at least 25 years, they finally got me to purchase a gun. I should've done more research, but the gun they had for sale for $1360, I offered them $1000, and they came back at $1250. Since I've worked with them so much, I trusted them and bought a couple boxes of ammo. I took it home, did some research, and found the gun was selling for $1000 brand new at Bass Pro Shop. I took it back, willing to put the money towards a ring or store credit, but the guy was unwilling to help. He said he usually doesn't do returns on guns, and when I asked if I could put it towards a ring I had on layaway, he refused. After spending at least $50,000 to $100,000 in that store over the years, they wouldn't help me with one exchange. The new owners have been rude, and the last few times I've been in, even when purchasing items, they've treated me and my friend poorly. They've lost a lot of business from me and my family because of one return or request for store credit. Store credit would've been fine. The moral of the story is don't do business with nasty, greedy people. Please feel free to share. Ace buyers located on Main Street in Springfield, Oregon. It's NOT A...
