I turned to Jackson because he was the most inexpensive lawyer. I should’ve done my research. Basically you get what you pay for. I’m sure some of you have really good experiences with this man, but I did not. He is not professional, he doesn’t listen, and he doesn’t know how to communicate. I also informed him my SSN was stolen for employment purposes. He told me it shouldn’t be a problem. I asked him if he was sure because it’s showing a lot more money that I’m making then I’m not. I’m not a bankruptcy lawyer but I’m pretty sure that this is a very important situation. Finally after so many miscommunications he tells me he can’t handle my case. Surprise surprise. When he told me he can’t have me as a client anymore, I was short with him, but I had very good reasons. He called me back to yell at me. Who does that? From the start, Mr. Donley and His very lovely Daughter were kind, and sweet, and they broke everything down for me to understand, without making me feel small for not knowing! Going to their office felt more like going to visit helpful close friends. They never ever talked over my head or treated me as if I was just another client/case.. they really understood what I was going through and did everything they could do to help me get through this tough time. Even giving them a bunch of random documents and emails, they managed to work with me, sort them effectively, and always made sure they communicated with me effectively and in various ways. They worked around MY schedule which is also HUGE for me. Never even met this attorney. HE scheduled my appt and then didn't show up and when I finally managed to reach him several days later, was extremely rude to me and when I got sick of the verbal abuse and hung up, he called both my office number and cell number back for the sole purpose of calling me a dead beat on my voicemail. He never even spoke more than a few sentences to me and had no clue what my circumstances were.
